"Someone's not scared of prison," Katy mumbled to herself before shrugging and saying louder, "I could be persuaded."
"Someone's not scared of prison," Katy mumbled to herself before shrugging and saying louder, "I could be persuaded."
"Alrighty! What sort of persuasion are you referring to, hmm?" Beau fiddled with a stick he'd found on the grass.
"Tell me what you got," Katy leaned up against the tree doing a quick glance around the square.
"Uh… Well, everyone hates this guy and it's not like anyone else is gonna do shit about it? There's no time like the present? Uh… only you can prevent forest fires? I'm not very good at this…"
Luke smiled. "Even I don't know much outside our farm, but the government pays us super crappy. People are dying because of him, I think."
"I'm begging you," Rheyna told the new girl. "Don't leave me with these idiots. I don't think I can handle them on my own." She paused, glaring at Beau. "And what did I say about telling random strangers about this?"
Katy snorted and grinned, “I won’t. Names Katy how about you?”
"Rheyna. I'm glad to have another sane person in this team." She replied, a hint of a smile forming on her face.
"I wouldn't call me sane," Katy responded, "But I'm a hell of a lot saner than these two."
“I’m sane, just kind of sheltered. Probably saner than him, though.” Luke jerked his thumb towards Beau.
“Being sane is boring! Y’all are forgetting that my strategy has already recruited three people! Four, if you include me.” He put his hands on his hips, seemingly quite pleased with himself.
“Okay, yeah. But still.” Luke shifted his weight again.
"I'm just waiting for the police to come and start, dragging you to prison," Katy smirked over at him, "Your idea ain't very smart."
(How does Azalea come back to find them since she already left?)
(She could hear Beau being concerning?)
“You know what? Damn the police! I don’t care what they think! We just keep quiet once we get enough people, then we strike!” Beau hit his hand with his fist in determination. “Who’s with me?”
(I don't know what to do with Jacob…)
(I don't know what to do with my character either…)
Katy rolled her eyes and glared at him, "That's not how rebellions work. That's how rebellions fall and the people end up getting thrown into prison. Which I do not recommend."
Rheyna nodded at the new girl approvingly. "You have to take this seriously. Alkarii's bloodline hasn't been taken down in hundreds of years. If you want to rebel against someone that powerful, you can't just run in flailing your arms. You have to make a plan."
“Uh, Yeah… right… usually I just sorta wing it, you know?” Beau thought for a moment. “Yeah, plans aren’t really my thing. Any ideas, anyone?” (Idk how to bring more people in hnghh I swear I’m trying qvq)
"Um. I, uh, really don't know that much either." Luke shifted awkwardly, his tall, gangly body looking out of place among the rest. "You all seem smarter," He said, gesturing towards the girls.
(I gotchu fam)
Raven watched them talk. They were being too loud, she thought. Talk any louder and they'd be heard.
Rheyna let out a loud laugh. "Smart? Yeah, right. I dropped out of tenth grade because it was too difficult. I'm not smart, I'm just reasonable and not quite as dumb as you."
"Same thing to me." Luke shrugged, smiling.
“Well, you’re still doin’ better than me. My parents kicked me out when I was fifteen, so I haven’t gone to any school since freshman year.” Beau shrugged, smiling lightly. (Him being kicked out can actually be a sensitive topic for him, but he jokes about it pretty much whenever possible so people think he isn’t bothered)
