Floyd looked around for a moment longer before walking up to red head that he recognized. “Carson, good to see you, man. Listen, you know where Ryan’s bags are?” He asked.
The freckled red head, who was referred to as Carson, looked over and smiled. “Good to see you too, Floyd. And it’s over there,” he said, pointing at a black duffel bag a few meters away. “Why are you asking?”
Floyd held up the fake snake witha bright grin, and Carson chuckled a bit. “You’re going to get your stupid ass kicked.”
“Nah, not with my good friend here to tell him no,” Floyd said, slinging his arm around Ace’s shoulders.
Carson shook his head, laughing a bit. Floyd led Ace over to the bag, crouching down and looking inside. He tucked it mostly in, leaving a bit out for Ryan to see. “This is going to be so good.”
Ace blushed when Floyd pulled him over, waving shyly to Carson, allowing his friend to pull him away.
"You seem a little too excited to do this.." Ace whispered, looking around the room as he waited for Floyd to put it in the bag.
“Of course I am,” Floyd responded with a chuckle as he tugged Ace away from the bag.
“He’s a complete douche bag. Did you know he was engaged to Cassie at one point a year or two ago? I don’t know if I told you that… Anyways, they were engaged for a bit, then the dick cheated on her with some other woman. Cheated on Cassie! It’s insane!” Floyd sighed and shook his head.
Ace frowned, eyebrows furrowing.
"What?!" He 'whisper yelled', face growing a bit red, anger filling him, "Why would anybody cheat on Cassie? Okay, this motherfucker deserves to pay." He growled, crossing his arms as he glanced at the man,
“I agree! When we found out, I was convinced Nick would have completely killed Ryan, but Cassie begged him not to,” Floyd said with a sigh. “She’s too kind for her own good.”
He was about to continue, but he saw Ryan walk over to his bag. He poked Ace and nodded over to the man.
Ace watched Ryan, a small smirk spread across his face, ready for his reaction.
Floyd watched as Ryan began to dig through his bag, before practically screeching as he stumbled backwards. Floyd erupted into laughter, practically doubling over.
Ryan heard the laughter and looked over with a furious expression. “Floyd, I’m going to fucking kill you!” He shouted.
Ace laughed along with Floyd, although he looked up in shock as he saw Ryan marching over.
"Excuse me, but that is no way to speak to the General, especially in the presence of the KING." Ace growled, clearly using his position to his advantage, arms still crossed as he stood, tapping his foot against the ground.
Ryan stopped in his tracks, looking at Ace with a more shocked expression than anything. Then he looked back at Floyd, who was stifling laughter as he tried to look professional, with a deadly glare. “Yes, sir,” Ryan muttered, turning on his heel and walking back to where his bag was.
Ace turned back to Floyd after watching Ryan walk off.
"That," He said, laughing, tears pouring out of the corners of his eyes," Was great!"
“I know right! I told you he has a bitchy scream!” Floyd exclaimed. The red head from before whistled to get their attention, giving them a thumbs up as he laughed with a group of boys.
Floyd tugged Ace from the room, his arm half resting on the shorter boy’s shoulder as he partly leaned against Ace. “His face was priceless!”
Ace laughed with Floyd, walking with him as they staggered back, helping to keep Floyd still.
"That was so funny! His face when he saw the thing, and then when I said that, he was so scared!" He laughed, wiping his eyes.
“What an idiot!” Floyd cried, his body shaking with laughter.
When they eventually made it back to Ace’s bedroom, he collapsed pace first onto the bed, the sheets muffling his slowling chuckles. He sat himself up slightly, a dopey grin on his face. “That is one of my new favorite things to do with you.”
Ace sat next to Floyd on the bed, his breathing heavy as he calmed himself.
"What? Scare dickheads shitless," He asked smiling," Because I'd have to agree with that." He said, giving the larger boy a close eyed smile.
Floyd shifted so he was on his back, his head turned lazily to look at Ace. He smacked his friends leg and chuckled. “Of course. We’ll have to do it again sometime.”
Squealing, Ace fell over onto his back, eyes closed as he drifted off into a light sleep, He looked peaceful, the last few days full of stress and responsibilities had changed his usual happy-go-lucky personality.
Floyd sat up when he noticed that Ace had begun to sleep. He rubbed at his own tired eyes, and knew that he should leave so his friend could rest.
Ace wiggled a bit, his eyes opened a bit when he noticed Floyd get up, his eyebrows scrunching up.
"Why do people leave?" He asked, tears dripping from the corners of his eyes, hands gripping his grey jacket for comfort.
"I keep losing people," He whimpered, clearly not lucid, "It's my fault people keep leaving me, and now you are too." his voice was quiet, until it rose into a wail.
(Things are too perfect atm xD It doesn't feel right..)
(Lmao, yeah I’m waiting to see if anything could possibly go wrong..)
Floyd frowned softly, looking down at his tearful friend. “Woah, hey, I’m not leaving you.. I just thought that I should let you sleep,” He soothed, leaning back against his elbows now.
Ace curled up into a smaller ball, letting out pitiful whimpers, struggling to find comfort in Floyd's words, his whimpers growing into full on sobs, now fully awake he thought about his father, and mother, worried that he would lose his best friend like he had lost them.
“Hey, Ace, come on, it’s okay..” Floyd murmured, rubbing the sobbing boy’s back. “I’ll stay here, yeah? Does that sound better? I’ll stay as long as you want.” He gave a slight smile, continuing to do his best to soothe his friend.
Ace nodded, bringing Floyd in for a hug, his body shaking.
(I gotta go to sleep, I have no school all week so….fun :b)
(Nice, seeyah!)
Floyd hugged Ace tightly, partly cradling his friend while he continued to massage his back. “There.. See? Everything will be okay..” he murmured softly.
Ace sniffed, rubbing his eyes as he closed his eyes allowing himself to fall to sleep, this time though, he would have much better dreams.
I'M BACK AND I HAVE GLASSES XD
(Ayyy nice)
Floyd continued to rub the sleeping boy’s back gently, deciding to stay there until he woke up. He picked up his cellphone, sending a quick text to Cassie explaining why he wouldn’t be back home that night. She responded quickly, the text reading: I called it, Nick needs to pay up. Floyd shook his head and smiled, setting his phone aside again. He leaned back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling in silence.
