Floyd shrugged his shoulders in response, looking down at his friend. “I was just wondering, but if you’re that busy then I’ll let you go,” he responded.
Floyd shrugged his shoulders in response, looking down at his friend. “I was just wondering, but if you’re that busy then I’ll let you go,” he responded.
He smiled up at his friend, "It can wait, what do you wanna do," he asked, turning his head to wave at a few reapers who he met during his time at the academy, "We can hang out at my place, or go out on a walk..or.." he scrunched his eyebrows together in thought.
Floyd thought about it for a moment. He also waved at the group before turning to face Ace again. “How about we go to your place?” He suggested, smiling at his friends’s thoughtful expression.
Ace nodded, relaxing a bit as he walked faster.
"Onward my good sir!" He joked, turning around to Floyd before speed walking through the crowd.
(Oof i have so much homework…BUT I GOT INTO THE SCHOOL I WANTED :>)
(Aye, congrats!)
Floyd laughed loudly before following after his friend through the crowd. “What are we planning on doing when we get there?” He asked.
Ace shrugged, stuffing his hands in his pockets as he skipped beside his friend, his mood obviously improved.
He had a smile spread across his face, "We could….read…um..just talk?" He said, thinking about what they could do when they arrive at the palace.
A slight grin slowly spread across Floyd’s face. “Just talk?” He asked, looking down at his shorter friend. He reached over and jokingly messed up Ace’s hair with his hand.
Ace squeaked, slapping Floyd's hands away from his head, fixing his hair.
"Really?! I worked on my hair forever this morning!" He complained, a fake frown on his face.
(Sorry It was really short I had drama class, and I still have so much homework PROCRASTINATION!)
(Ugh, same on the Homework.)
Floyd laughed vibrantly and grinned down at his short friend. “But it looks so adorable,” he said jokingly, jabbing him in the side.
Ace giggled, not knowing he was ticklish there, "Stop!" he whined, blushing, "Race you to the castle!" He yelled, running ahead.
Floyd raced after Ace, using his longer legs to an advantage. He eventually caught up with his friend, a devilish smirk on his face. “What do I get if I win, huh?” He called.
Ace ran, struggling to keep up with his taller friend, "Anything!" the young king yelled, pushing himself to pass Floyd, struggling to catch his breath as he did.
Floyd laughed, and grinned. “Anything sounds great!” He kept going, breaking into a sprint to try and pass up his friend again.
Once they made it through the gates and to the bottom of the stairs, Ace stopped, resting his hands on his knees, panting heavily.
"I am so out of shape, look at me." he said, standing up straight again, patting his stomach, "I think I need to work out more!" he exclaimed, jumping up, wiping an invisible drip of sweat from his forehead. He looked at the large set of stairs, his face paling.
"Oh shit."
Floyd was breathing almost just as heavily when he arrived, but he didn’t seem as tired. For his job, it was almost mandatory to be in good shape, so he was used to long runs. He grinned at his friend and took a few deep breaths.
“You’re just not used to running much, is all,” he said, attempting to be positive. “Now, come on. Let’s scale these stairs.” He clapped Ace on the back in a friendly manner.
The blue eyed boy groaned, leaning back, arms hanging limp at his sides as he tilted his head upwards.
"Let's get this done and over with," he complained, " I feel like i'm gonna pass out!" He yelled as he began to climb the stairs, starting out slowly at first, before quickly jogging, his legs burning and tripping once with a - "HoLY sHit"- and carrying on as he reached the top, quickly running through the doors as the two guards opened them.
"To my room!" He decided, not waiting for Floyd.
Floyd had followed his friend up the stairs, unable to hold in his laughter when Ace tripped. He went through the doors, walking at a brisk pace to catch up with him.
“See, not so bad. At least you didn’t fall all the way to the bottom,” he teased, snickering a tad. Floyd glanced up and down the hall as they walked. He looked at the nicer decor on the walls and all around, seeming interested. But he found that he couldn’t look around for long, as Ace was getting farther ahead of him.
Ace rolled his eyes at Floyd as he continued walking, he then took a sharp left into his bedroom where he jumped into his room, face buried in his pillows. He looked over to his right, spotting a small stuffed snake, which he quickly grabbed and shoved under the bed, before flopping back down, staring at the ceiling as he waited for Floyd to finally realize he left.
Floyd glanced around before finding his way into Ace’s bedroom. “So this is where the king sleeps? I’m honored to be here,” he joked, sitting down on the edge of the bed. “You’re so moody,” he said, flopping on his back down by Ace’s feet.
Ace sat up, squinting at Floyd before scooting down a bit, raising his legs up he let them drop, right onto Floyd's stomach.
"Nobody talks to the king like that!" He jokingly yelled, actually feeling quite bad for hurting his friend, "I am not moody! If I am, think about it, I'm a GAY KING who is a motherfucking VIRGIN! You would be moody too!" He yelled, laughing.
(This is actually a conversation i've had with a friend of mine, ya'know besides the whole 'King' part.)
(Oh wow lmao)
Floyd laughed, but grunted when Ace’s legs hit his chest. “I didn’t know you were a virgin! Are you serious?” He exclaimed, slapping his friend’s ankle, but not hard enough to hurt it.
Ace once again lifted his legs, placing them on the bed sitting up, resting his arms on his knees, wrapping his hands together. Realizing what he had just said, the blue eyed boy blushed, his face showing his embarrassment.
"W-well yeah, i've been..waiting.." He said, hiding his face in his knees, letting out a muffled, "I bet that sounds stupid."
Floyd sat up once Ace’s legs were off if him and he shifted so he was sitting with his legs crossed facing his friend. A frown made its way to his lips and he shrugged.
“That’s not stupid. I wish I would have waited,” he said. “Don’t worry about it, you’ve got time. I was just teasin’ you.” He reached out and patted his friends shoulder in an attempt to be comforting.
Ace peeked out from behind his knees, relaxing just a bit as he looked up at Floyd.
"I don't know," He said, face still on fire as he struggled to find a way to change the subject, "What do you wanna do?" He asked, looking around his large room, his hands picking at the black blanket beneath him as he thought, eyebrows scrunched together.
Floyd simply smiled and gave the boy’s knee a squeeze, then fell back against the bed again, his arms under his head. “Well, we could talk. Oo, we could go screw with some of my old partners. We could go find something to drink. And don’t worry, those are only a few of my glorious ideas,” he rambled on, chuckling.
