Ace smiled, "Sounds like fun, what did you have in mind for messing with your partners?" He asked, finally feeling like an actual teen for once in his life.
Ace smiled, "Sounds like fun, what did you have in mind for messing with your partners?" He asked, finally feeling like an actual teen for once in his life.
“I mean, Ryan is terrified of snakes. Got any snakes around here? Any fake ones? We found a dead one when going above one time and he screamed like a little bitch,” Floyd said, laughing loudly. “I don’t think I’ve heard a higher pitched scream in my entire life! Even Cassie doesn’t scream that high!”
Ace blushed, "I think I might..just uh, help me look and get off of your lazy butt!" He rolled off of the bed, landing on the ground with a 'thump' before jumping up back on his feet, looking all around the room for one, praying to whatever god was listening, that Floyd did NOT look under the bed.
Floyd pushed himself off of Ace’s bed, laughing. “Me? Lazy? That’s insane!” He cried in fake offense, jabbing his short friend in the side with his hand. He began to search around, peering into the closet. “Would you seriously have any snakes in here?”
"Not any real ones, I used to have one, but he ended up escaping, or so my dad told me…but he really just died." He said, remembering his black and white King snake.
"I should have a fake one somewhere…" He said, looking through the desk by the bathroom door.
Floyd shut the closet and made his way back to the bed. “At least you got a pet, you know what we had? We had plants, Nick is allergic to anything that seems to have hair and breathes, no wonder girls avoid him,” he said, freely joking about his older brother.
Ace laughed, continuing to look through the messy drawers and behind the small couch and under the cushions.
"My stepmother was crazy allergic to pollen, and was terrified of bee's and bugs, so my dad just got me a snake, I wanted a dog, but man did all my friends at the academy think I was cool!" He exclaimed, turning around every once in a while to look at Floyd, smile etched across his face.
Floyd laughed as he searched through a bed side table. “Yeah? Nick and I thought it was so lame, and we wanted to get rid of the plants. But Cassie threw a fit. I think that’s the only time she’s ever been agresssive, she gave me a pretty good bruise on my upper arm,” he said, laughing more.
Floyd shut the bed side table drawers. He then moved to get down on his stomach to look under the bed.
Ace's smile dropped, eyes widening in horror as he watched Floyd get on his stomach.
"N-no! Floyd don't look under the bed!" He screamed, not knowing how to deal with this.
(All creativity has left my brain xDD)
(Lmao, I feel the same sometimes)
Floyd arched a brow at his friends screaming, crouching on the ground, but a grin slowly formed. “Why, What are you hiding? It better not be a body, Ace. Is it a body? Because I don’t think I could be friends with a murderer.”
"Yep," He chuckled awkwardly," You got me, i'm a murderer, now step away from the bed!" He said, getting all nervous and flustered.
Floyd let out a whistle. “A murderous king, what does someone like that use, huh? A golden blade with a diamond encrusted hilt?” He questioned, going along with it. He knew that Ace couldn’t lie to him, it was obvious. He gave him a challenging grin as if to say ‘make me’ before moving at a gingerly pace to get on the floor.
Ace growled, "No, for someone like you I would use a rusty old spoon!" He yelled, running over to Floyd, jumping onto his back as he made his way to lay back on the floor.
"No!" He yelled, putting all his weight on his friends back-which wasn't a lot.
Floyd grunted when his friend jumped on his back. He gritted his teeth as he stood slowly with Ace on his back, almost getting all the way up before he pulled his friends arms off of him. He grinned devilishly and half tossed the boy off of his back and onto his bed with a laugh.
“Okay, okay, I won’t look at your ‘bodies’!” He exclaimed in fake fear before cracking up, half doubling over.
Ace yelped, quickly sitting up, frowning at Floyd's teasing.
"Thank you."
Floyd eventually stopped laughing and scruffed up Ace’s hair, knowing how much it annoyed him. “Yeah, yeah, whatever makes you happy, murderer,” he said jokingly
"Wait! I remember where I put the snake now! I last had it in the bathroom!" He yelled, running into the bathroom and running back out with a fake rubber snake in hand.
“Why The hell was it in the bathroom?” Floyd asked, chuckling. He snatched the snake from his hand and felt it, seeing how real it looked and felt.
Ace let out a breathy laugh, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.
"Um..Ellen is terrified of them.." He said, referring to the head maid, remembering the time he would put it everywhere around the palace.
"That, is why she refuses to clean my room." He said, his cheeks turning a bit red.
Floyd laughed and shook his head. “I didn’t take you for someone who would do that. Let’s quit hanging around though and go scare Ryan,” he said, grinning wildly.
Ace nodded, a small smile adorning his face as he decided to follow Floyd, not knowing who Ryan was.
Floyd left Ace’s room and walked down a long hallway, then down the staircase. “He’s probably going to be in the training area, he is always down there. Says he needs to practice for, like, four hours a day to get better,” he rambled on as he walked, seeming to know his way around.
Ace nodded, hands folded into one another behind his back as he walked, listening to Floyd wondering where they where going.
Floyd walked down another set of stairs, the lighting lessening. Once he got to the bottom, the scenery changed a bit in the sense of not being as nice. This was where the reapers spent most of the time, and he had an idea of how they always weren’t the top priority. Besides no one besides the reapers went down there, so if it wasn’t as clean or nice, who would care?
He turned down a poorly lit hall, and walked into a large open room that had concrete wall and floors. There were different work out equipments, sparing tools, and a mat for doing so on. It wasn’t too crowded, the few groups that were there seeming to only be chatting and standing around. Floyd nodded towards the corner of the room to the raven haired boy who looked to be about Floyd’s age, maybe a year or two older. “There’s Ryan,” he commented, watching him for a moment.
Ace looked around, silently getting closer to Floyd as he continued to walk. He looked over at the older man Floyd was referring to, nodding before looking back up to his friend.
"What's the plan?" He asked, a mischievous smile spread across his face.
