Ayce ate quietly, eating more than he had before, though still not quite enough to be healthy.
Ayce ate quietly, eating more than he had before, though still not quite enough to be healthy.
Nolan smiled as he finished his plate. "Are you finished darling?" He asked
Ayce ate a tiny bit more, than nodded slightly. "Yeah."
Nolan grabbed their plates and disposed of them. He held his hand out to Ayce
Ayce took Nolan's hand with a faint smile.
"Wouod you like to go for a walk or back our room?" Nolan asked
Ayce shrugged slightly. "You uhm…you said you had a friend or something with a garden?" he said slowly.
"Would you like to see her?" Nolan asked him
Ayce nodded a little. "Yeah. If you want that?" he replied.
"If she's not busy I'm sure she won't mind." Nolan kissed his forehead
"Alright." Ayce replied, leaning against Nolan a little, happy to just be held and loved.
Nolan led them to a door. He knocked gently on it. After a moment, it opened. "Nolan! I heard you were back. Why didn't you come to see me?"
Nolan embraced the young woman. "I'm sorry. Just lost track of time. Elain, this is Ayce."
Nolan gently pushed him forward to greet his friend
Ayce gave a hesitant smile, holding out his hand to shake Elain's. "Hi." he greeted.
Elain returned the handshake. "Nice to meet you."
"He wants to see your garden if you dont mind." Nolan said.
"Of course not." Elain waved them in. She went out the back door to a small little garden. It was about a quarter of the size of their room. "You can stay as long as you like."
Ayce smiled a little. "Thank you." he said to Elain, his blue eyes careful and a little nervous.
Nolan smiled and led him into the garden. Elain let them be, though she may have been watching through the window. "How do you like it darling?"
Ayce leaned against him a little, closing his eyes for a moment, then opening them again. "It's beautiful." he replied softly.
Nolan pulled Ayce's back against his chest. He rested his chin on top of his head. "It is. We come back as often as you'd like."
Ayce looked up at him for a moment, a soft smile on his face. "Okay. Thank you." he replied softly.
"Of course darling." Nolan smiled down at him. He kissed him swiftly before looking at the flowers
He smiled back, and looked around at the flowers.
Nolan's eyes fluttered closed as he pictured a different place. Somewhere happy with just Ayce and him.
Ayce kept looking at the garden, his back still against Nolan's chest.
Eventually, Nolan sat down, pulling Ayce in his lap. He slipped his hands up Ayce's shirt and gently caressed his skin.
Ayce shivered a little at the touch, closing his eyes for just a moment.
