Nolan grabbed a comb and gently brushed through his hair
Ayce smiled at him again, and leaned upwards to kiss his cheek.
Nolan grabbed his clothes and helped Ayce dress before dressing himself
Ayce got dressed with Nolan's help, then sat down on the bed to watch the other male.
Nolan ran his hands through his hair. He stretched and smiled at Ayce. "Are you ready to go darling?"
Ayce nodded a little, and stood up, looking at Nolan with a small smile. "Yeah."
Nolan took his hand and led him out the door
Ayce held his hand, walking beside him as they walked through the hallways.
Nolan tucked him close. "I'll keep you safe."
Ayce nodded. "I know." He replied softly. "I love you." He looked up at Nolan.
"I love you too." Nolan dropped a kiss on the top of his head. He led him Jalaan's office amd knocked on the door.
(Im pretty sure I spelled his name wrong but it be fine)
Jalaan opened the door after a moment. "Oh good. I was beginning to wonder if I would have to fetch you two." He gave a tight smile that didn't reach his eyes, going back to his desk and sitting down.
Ayce's grip on Nolan's hand tightened.
Nolan tensed, his expression becoming hard. He squeezed Ayce's hand back. He stepped into the room, closing the door behind them
Ayce stuck close to Nolan, looking down at his feet.
"Sit down." Jalaan said, shuffling through some papers and setting a few aside.
Nolan pulled out a seat and helped Ayce sit. He stood behind the chair, his hands resting on Ayce's shoudlers
(Ahh I thought I replied, sorry!)
Ayce leaned into Nolan's hands, watching Jalaan nervously.
Jalaan shifted the papers again. "So." he looked at them, sitting down again.
Nolan squeezed his shoulders softly. He stood ridgid. "So." He repeated
Jalaan sighed. "Well, Ayce. You going to tell me that spell now? I'm sure we can work on getting your magic back, once you do."
Ayce shook his head a little bit. "No. N-not that one." I can't let him get that one I can't I can't I can't.
Nolan massaged the bcak of Ayce's neck with his thumbs. "Ayce has been through a lot. He has been there for a hundred years has he not? These things will take time." He said harshly
Jalaan folded his hands together. "I know that, Nolan." he replied calmly, eyes flicking to Nolan, than back to Ayce. "But this war has been going on for longer. The good of many over the good of one."
Ayce shuddered a little.
"And pressuring him will get him nowhere but backwards. I've already made a little progress with him but if you continue this he will get worse and perhaps never regain his magic." Nolan would do anything for Ayce, even arguing against his own leader
"He won't get worse." Jalaan said dismissively. "Stop worrying so much. He's just one broken Fae."
Ayce looked away, biting his lip and fidgeting.
"If you're going to continue to speak ill of him we will go back our room." Nolan warned with a sneer
Jalaan smirked a little. "Why, so you can screw him again?" He replied, returning the sneer.
"Because you and this place make him uncomfortable. You're making him feel trapped." Nolan's grip tightened on Ayce's shoudlers. "So say what you need and be done with it." He eould probably get a brutal beating later but it would be worth it
