Ayce shivered a little bit, another soft sound rippling from his throat. He closed his eyes, leaning against Nolan. His arms were looped around his neck lightly.
Ayce shivered a little bit, another soft sound rippling from his throat. He closed his eyes, leaning against Nolan. His arms were looped around his neck lightly.
Nolan smiled. He pressed a small kiss to his lips. "Lets keep going alright? We'll stop in a few hours." He turned back around.
Ayce nodded, and let go so that Nolan could move, then put his arms around the other male again, leaning his head on Nolan's shoulder, closing his eyes. "Okay." He said softly.
Nolan placed his hand on Ayce's thigh. Eventually, the sun had set enough that it was no longer safe enough to ride. He stopped and set up camp, starting a small fire. "Hungry darling?"
Ayce shifted, opening his eyes and blinking. He had fallen asleep a few times during the ride, though he hadn't had nightmares. Which was a welcome change. "A little I guess…" He replied slowly.
Nolan pulled out the fresh fruit he had. It wouldn't last long so it was good to eat it now then let it spoil. "Here, eat some of this." He kissed the top of his head
Ayce took it carefully, and nodded. "Okay. Thank you." He replied softly, starting to eat the fruit.
Nolan sat next to him, eating as well. "You're welcome darling."
Ayce ate the fruit rather slowly; then again, he ate most things slowly now. He gave Nolan a tiny, almost shy smile, then returned to his food.
Nolan returned the smile. "Try to eat more darling." He kissed his cheek gently then went back to eating
Ayce looked up at him, biting his lip for a moment. "Why?" he asked slowly, then took another bite, slow still.
"Yo3ure too skinny. Its not healthy. I want you to put on more weight." Nolan saud
Ayce shrugged, curling his shoulders in a little. "…oh. I…" he fidgeted with the shirt hem for a moment. "Okay…"
"I just want you to be healthy. I lile you small, but not to the point where I can count every single rib." Nolan cupped his cheek gently. "Just try to eat a little bit more."
Ayce raised his eyes to meet Nolan's for a moment, before looking away again. "Okay…" he said quietly, finishing the fruit and setting the core down. "There."
"Good." Nolan praised. He set up their bags and blankets. "Do you want to sleep or stay up a little while longer?"
Ayce shrugged a little. "I don't know." he said quietly. "I'm not tired." he added after a moment, looking up at the stars as best he could with the trees in the way.
"Lay dow with me and we can look at the stars together. How does that sound?" Nolan looked at him
"Okay." Ayce agreed, scooting closer to him. He snuggled close to the other male, still looking up at the sky. For once, he looked calm, at peace. Not haunted or pained, or anything like that.
Nolan laid them back against the blankets. His fingertips brushed against Ayce's side. He sighed in content.
Aye snuggled as close to him as he could, looking up at the sky still. Someone once told me that if the stars could speak what stories they could tell. They would be…they would have so many amazing stories to share of the past.
Nolan watched Ayce with a smile on his lips. He tilted his head back and looked up at the stars.
Ayce leaned his head against Nolan's shoulder, letting out a quiet sigh. Can it just stay like this? Please? I don't want to go back I don't want to, I want it to stay like this…
"Will you tell me what's going on in there?" Nolan asked as he tapped Ayce's head.
(I have to go to bed now. Good night)
Ayce blinked, turning to look at him. "I…don't want to go back…" he admitted softly. "I would rather just…just stay here…" he whispered, cuddling closer to Nolan.
