Ayce shifted a little, leaning down on Nolan. His elbows rested lightly against Nolan's shoulders, his hands tangled in the other male's hair.

Nolan pushed his shirt up, exposing the skin on his back. He ran his hands all over him, trying to be mindful of his wounds.

Ayce shivered a little, eyes flickering shut. He swallowed, leaning against Nolan still.

"So beautiful." Nolan murmured. "I am blessed to be with you."

Ayce opened his eyes slightly, looking at him. "No…" He whispered quietly. "I am. If it wasn't f-for you, I would still be stuck in…in there."

"You will never go back there. I promise on my life you will never ever see that place again." Nolan pressed a fierce kiss to his lips.

Ayce clung to him, kissing him back. "Okay." He said softly. "Thank you…" He trailed off, leaning his head against Nolan's.

Nolan stroked his cheek gently. "Always." He murmured. He bumped their noses together with a small smile

Ayce gave a tiny, flickering smile back. He snuggled close to Nolan again, pressing their warm bodies together.

"Try to get some sleep darling. I'll fight off all the bad dreams." Nolan smiled down at him

Ayce nodded, closing his eyes and staying close to him. "Okay." He whispered, kissing Nolan's cheek softly.

Nolan smiled at the kiss. He let his eyes flutter close, relaxing against Ayce.

Ayce was quiet, snuggled close to Nolan contentedly. He was already starting to drift off to sleep.

Nolan fell asleep quickly, comfortable amd content

Ayce fell asleep, snuggled contentedly against Nolan's warm body.

Ayce awoke in the morning, blinking. He hadn't woken up screaming or crying, for the first time in what felt like forever. He was still snuggled close to Nolan, arms around the other male.

Nolan eyes slowly fluttered open. He left out a soft groan as he stretched under Ayce. "Morning darling. Did you sleep well?"

Ayce looked down at him sleepily. "Mhm." He nodded, sitting up and stretching a little. That strange black scar on the left side of his face was obvious in the pale morning light.

Nolan brought his hand up and traced the scar faintly. "You look well rested. I'm glad." He pressed a chasted kiss to his lips. "Are you hungry for breakfast?"

Ayce gave him a tiny smile, and shrugged. "I…a little…" He replied, moving off of Nolan so that he could get up.

Nolan sat up and grabbed the food out of his bag. He grabbed a couple portions and handed one to Ayce, keep the other for himself

Ayce took it, looking over at Nolan for a moment, then down at the food. He ate some, slowly, a bit hesitantly. He was hungry, he just wasn't sure how much.

Nolan finished his food amd smiled over at Ayce. "Im going to start packing up, you finish eating." He drooped a kiss on his head

Ayce nodded. "Okay." he replied, sitting cross-legged as he worked on finishing his food. His appetite was better than it had been just days ago. He hadn't gained any weight back yet, but at least he was eating.
