Nolan would wakw up everytime Ayce had a nightmare. He was hold him and wipe his tears away and whisper soothing words in his ears. He shifted awake as he felr Ayce waking up in top of him. "Morning darling." He murmured huskily
Ayce looked at him. "Morning." he said sleepily, letting go of him to stretch with a small yawn. He winced slightly as the stretching motion pulled on some of the wounds on his body, and dropped his arms again. He was still wearing Nolan's shirt, snuggled into the fabric, which hung off his thin frame.
Nolan smiled at him. He sat up. "Let's get dressed and get some breakfast. Then we'll get ready to head out." He said, kisseing his temple briefly.
Ayce sat up, and nodded. "Okay." he replied, rubbing his eyes, then looked around for his shoes. He grabbed them and put them on, not seeming to realize that he was still wearing Nolan's shirt still.
Nolan smiled. "You can keep the shirt on. I jabe another one." He pulled his spare shirt my of his bag and put it on. He laced up his boots and packed their stuff quickly. He shouldered the bag and slung it over his shoulder. "Ready?"
Ayce blinked, then nodded. "Oh. Alright." He replied with a tiny smile. "Let's go." He hesitantly took Nolan's hand, lacing their fingers together.
Nolan gripped his hand tightly. He led him down to where they were serving breakfast. He git them both something small and set their food down in a corner woth Ayce next to him
Ayce followed him quietly, sitting down near him and chewing on his lip a little. "We need to check my…my wounds…" He said softly, glancing at Nolan, then down at the ground.
Nolan looked down at him. "What's wrong? Did you reopen a wound?" He asked worridly
He shrugged a little. "One of them hurts." He replied softly, looking down at his hands.
"Eat your breakfast and then I'll take care of it." Nolan said, looking down at him
"Okay." He replied, and picked up a fork, eating a little bit. He wasn't very hungry, but…he forced himself to eat a bit.
Nolan smiled, encouraging him to eat more. "That's it. Good boy." When they were finished, he disposed of theor plates. "Come on. Lets go to a bathroom and take care of it." He offered a hand
Ayce took his hand, biting his lip a little as they walked. His hair hung into his face a little, and he closed his eyes for a moment.
Nolan led him to the nearest bathroom and locked the door. He picked Ayce up amd set him on the counter. "Where does it hurt darling?" He asked
"Uhm…my left arm and shoulder." Ayce replied, gesturing to that side of his body with his opposite hand.
Nolan nodded. He gently lifted the shirt over his head and took a look at Ayce's arm and shoulder
The long wound had torn open, blood leaking out of it a little. It wasn't terrible, but it was easy to see that each movement Ayce made would have aggravated the wound.
Nolan grabbed a bandage out of his bag and wrapped the wound up after cleaning it out. "There, all better." He kissed Ayce's cheek. "Try not to move your arm around too much."
Ayce nodded. "Okay. Thank you." He replied softly, leaning his forehead against Nolan's shoulder with a soft sigh.
Nolan smiled. He kissed his head softly. "You're welcome darling. Are you ready to head on our?""
Ayce put an arm around Nolan, closing his eyes. "I…guess so." He replied softly, standing up.
Nolan nodded. He circled his arm around Ayce, holding him close. "Alright darling. Do you want your own horse or do you want to ride with me?"
Ayce opened his eyes, looking up at Nolan. "I don't know…" He replied slowly. "Can I…can I stay with you?" He asked.
Nolan smiled at him. "Of course you can." He said. "May I kiss you darling?"
