( @Opia, I was thinking about this for their backstory:
Their parents hated them for being outcasts/twins, and they were constantly trying to use their powers to their own advantages. Charlie and August both didn't get their powers until later on, so their parents would always try to coax it out of them. That's why Charlie has a tattoo on her back to cover the scars given to her from their mother and father. That's also why they've been so protective of one another )

( I feel like as Charlie's powers grow, she's going to get darker and darker, because her illusions are based off of fear. She's going to go downhill like Adelina in Young Elites )
