"Yeah that fits you, me that kinda stuff just doesn't do it" she took out her phone and took a picture of her bestfriend "Looking good," Riley gave Savannah a thumbs up.
"Yeah that fits you, me that kinda stuff just doesn't do it" she took out her phone and took a picture of her bestfriend "Looking good," Riley gave Savannah a thumbs up.
"You could totally pull this sort of thing off! But you like patterns, don't you?" Savannah skimmed through the dresses until she found a lovely white a-line one with some pale pink flowery designs.
"That's pretty," Riley grabbed it and went into the dressing rooms. She still wasn't sure, but trying was better then not trying. "Okay," she opened the door "What do you think?"
"You look great!" Savannah smiled. "How do you feel about it, though? That's the real question. If you don't like it, then it's not worth getting."
"I actually really like it," she pulled her hair back into a messy bun. "The only thing is Aaren doesn't like me so it's not like this will work." Without it even started she wanted to give up.
"Oh, come on! You don't know that! You can't give up now! I'm sure he likes you. What's there not to like?"
Riley hugged Savannah "You are the best person ever, dont forget that!" Savannah always knew what to say. "Should I just go back to the coffee shop at some point wearing this and just strike up conversation?"
"Sure, I don't see why not. And even if he's not there, I won't turn down coffee!" Savannah laughed and went to purchase her dress.
She inhaled and then let it go. "Alright I got this!" She pumped herself up for what she was about to do. "I can do this right?"
"You can do this!" Savannah said determinedly. "Now, let's go get your man!" She pulled Riley out of the store, still wearing the dress she had bought.
"Were going now? I thought maybe tomorrow you know," She tried not to fall while Savannah pulled her around. "Wouldn't be weird of I went back all dressed up?"
"Well, there's no guarantee that he'll be there tomorrow. We've got nothing to lose!"
"O-okay," she smiled but it came out a bit weird she wasn't sure this was going to go as planned.
They made their way back to the shop, Savannah leading. She had pulled the tags out of her dress on the way.
She looked inside to see Aaren still sitting there sketching. "Oh God now I'm nervous."
"You can do this! You look stunning and you've known him for years. You've got loads of things to talk about!" Savannah gently pushed Riley into the cafe.
Riley walked in sitting across from Aaren again. "Hey,"
(We kind of have to wait for them now haha)
(Sorry! I was busy! Also, sure Riley can have a crush on Aaren!)
Aaren set down his supplies, “Hello again!” Aaren looked up at Riley, “Well, you’re sure dressed up, are you going somewhere fancy, or are you trying to impress someone?” Aaren teased.
Rileys face went a bit red but she hid it well. "Ah, this is just for myself," she smiled "Can I not look good for myself?" She raised an eyebrow.
“You can, I’m not judging!” Aaren laughed, “Hey, do you wanna see the drawing I finished while you were gone? You seemed pretty interested in it.”
"Of course!" She moved to the chair next to him.
(What is the picture? Just so I can imagine more of what it looks like.)
(I’ll describe it don’t worry ;D)
“Ok, just don’t judge, ok? It’s pretty bad.” Aaren picked up his sketchbook and opened it to a sketch of the coffee shop. There were people sitting in seats, eating, drinking, and talking. There were employees behind the counter, taking someone’s order. There were tables with drinks on them, but no one sitting at the table. There were even people just standing around.
(Lol sorry for the bad description :P)
(Nah your good.)
"Are you kidding its amazing! All my people would be stick figures," She laughed taking a better look at it. It was good really good, he's definitely gotten better. "Remember the picture you drew for me as kids, of those pick flowers I really liked?" She smiled remembering that day. It was fun and she wished she could go back, though she was more of a tomboy back then.
“Yeah! I remember!” Aaren smiled, “Good times, if only I could be a kid again,” he sighed fondly.
"It's still hanging up in my room," She tipped on the table trying to calm her nerves a bit. "I was going to go take a walk in the near by park, do you want to join? I bet there's a lot of stuff to draw there."
