Fox pondered on the brief discussion from earlier, wondering what kind of person the new kid was going to turn out to be. He had met his fair share of interesting kids, and being quite scrawny and weak, surmised he could easily be a target, which didn't help his overall antisocialness and twitchiness.
Lily walked into the kitchen ignoring the other kids. She wasn’t sure if they were allowed to just take whatever but she didn’t really care. She grabbed an apple out of the fruit bowl and opened the fridge as she took a bite.
Fox studied the new kid with thinly veiled curiosity. His legs dangled over the counter and he swung them back and forth.
Lily took out a can of Pepsi and some berries. She sat down on one of the counter stools.
"Your name is?" Mar turned away from Asher to Lily.
“Lily,” she said giving off her ‘I don’t care’ attitude.
"Lily what?" The eldest kid there pressed.
“Lilly Parker,” she answered before taking another bite of her apple.
"I'm Marlene. You're new?"
“Yep. I just came like a few minutes ago,” she said opening up here can.
"Cool. I've been here for a while, so if you need anything, you can ask me." Mar looked Lily over. "How old are you? You look very young, but you act just about as old as me."
“I’m 15,” she said already getting tired of this girls questions.
Fox was quietly surveying them, his mind whirring.
"Fifteen." Mar repeated, nodding, and stood slowly, her long red hair swishing over her face.
Lily at all of her food and then stood up. She cleaned up her mess and then when to leave the room with her soda.
Fox glanced at Exila, then wondered if he should get another roll. He was feeling a bit peckish.
i didn't realize how hard it would be to rp as a character who doesn't speak lol//
Belle got up after a while and put her book down then walked to the kitchen to get some food. Since she got interrupted already and now she was finally hungry again.
Asher finished his sweets and started to hum to a song he had in his head.
I watched in silence as the the scene played out. My thoughts started to wander and for a moment I just stared into space. I started to lose awareness of my surroundings and didn't really process what was going on around me. Eventually I felt Fox's eyes on me, so I snapped back and looked at him.
"What are you thinking about?" I asked Fox, seeing his eyes full with words.
Fox smirked a little and patted his stomach. He assumed that she got the message.
Lily walked back up to her room and sat on her bed.
Exila nodded at Fox's gestures.
"Yeah, eggs wasn't enough to fill me up either. What are you hungry for?" I ask as I hop off the counter and make my way to the cabinets.
Fox shrugged, not really sure. He followed her to the cabinets, nimbly hopping off the counter, and stared at the food there. His eyes drifted over a few things before returning to Exila, still unsure.
"So, Asher, what are you going to do today?" Marlene asked again.
