Should I start it? I'll just begin a random day of my character's life at The Home. I don't want to make any assumptions about anything so I apologize if my post is short, haha
HI can I join//
Yeah//
Yeah you can start
wait, does anyone want to be Asher's friend?//
I can be//
coooool!//
(I'm open to making friends. Exila hasn't been here long, but it might not take her long to make friends.)
The alarm blares into my ears as my eyes shoot open. I sit up quickly, feeling a tugging sensation in my chest as I reached over my bed and turned off the alarm. The sun just barely peaked through the clouds to reach the window, but I still noticed it's shy face sneaking a glance in my direction. I wondered if anyone else was awake at this time, as it might be pretty early for everyone else. I hang my feet off the bed before plopping onto the ground, my soft soles barely making a sound on the aged wooden floor. Time to start another day at this intriguing place.
im baaaack//
Fox was awake, as he usually was at this hour. He woke up earlier than a lot of the other kids because he had trouble sleeping. He would lie in bed awake for hours on end most nights staring at the ceiling, and sneaking food from the kitchen was infinitely better than being bored and trying in vain to fall asleep. He was currently in the kitchen, nibbling on a roll that he had found, and sitting on the counter. Luckily, he figured he was the sole person awake in the Home.
Asher wakes up with a snap, rubbing his eyes. He jumps up and softly hums as he gets ready, sliding his knife into his boot and some other knives in various hidden pockets. "Ready for the day!" He whispers and opens the door, skipping towards the main hall.
are there animals like dogs or cats at the Home?//
I hope so, that would be a better explanation on why Asher has blood all over him.//

Other: Has an albino mouse named James.
Fox continued to eat the roll slowly, savoring the taste. When the others were around, he ate little. He still ate enough to satisfy him, but that was it. His bare feet dangled over the counter. He could hear noises but hoped that it wasn't a human, especially not an adult. He glanced around warily.
There can be animals there//
ok cool//
I tiptoed into the kitchen, peaking to see someone on the kitchen counter eating a roll. After concluding that the kid didn't seem too threatening to me, I made my presence known by walking into the kitchen.
"Do you know if we have cereal?"
I ask the kid, realizing I forgot to introduce myself.
Fox blinked, looking like a startled animal. He shrugged quietly, then went back to eating his roll.
Asher skipped down the hall to the kitchen after murdering a squirrel for the fun of it. "My friends not dead, just resting in a bloody bed." He sings softly and opens the door to the kitchen, getting some blood on the handle.
Marlene rolled over on her bed, wiping away faint tears from last night's nightmare. She decided she was hungry. If I sneak, they won't notice me… She thought, heading towards the kitchen.
Fox's eyes widened as he saw Asher, and he almost imperceptibly scooted away, afraid of the younger boy. Fox's pale face looked fraught with worry as he glanced between the two newcomers, startled out of his peace.
