Bridgett furrowed her brows in thought. "I think…" She began, "I think you should go back. Prove him wrong, take back your home. Just because he's a man, though I'm sure he's terrifying, doesn't mean you need to live in fear forever. And if all else fails, you have friends here now." Bridgett smiled encouragingly.
(Kam is free to chime in if she has an idea, idc)
(Yeah. Then they'll watch the li'l cuties together before waking them up and both Bridgett and Kam can tell their news!)
"Thats my problem! It wouldn't be just one man I'm against. He runs a huge casino business and hardly anyone even knows he does. The money and power he wields alone could have me killed before I even confront him! And who would be on my side? I'd be the desperate woman claiming to be his wife talking about another world and returning for vengeance, versus a man with billions and lots of power. I don't even think the Queen would believe me! And I know I have friends, but the minute he finds out I still live, the Queen would probably order the destruction of this place out of 'National security' and you'd all die!" she cried. "And if I stay, I'll always know that he got away with it."
(Uhhhh I'd say stay here then because a lot less people would die lmao you can deal with knowing he got away with whatever okay Allison do you want your friends to die)
Bridgett stared at Allison with surprise. "Goodness. Yeah, er, I have no clue what you should do. Give me a few days and I'll see what we can come up with, okay?"

(She doesn't want her friends to die, but if she doesn't return, her friends back home are next.)
Bridgett stared at Allison with surprise. "Goodness. Yeah, er, I have no clue what you should do. Give me a few days and I'll see what we can come up with, okay?"
"Ok… Ok…" she said calming herself down. "Exes are difficult, but this one… this one is beyond impossible to deal with. For me at least."
"Yeah." Bridgett nodded sympathetically. "It sounds terrible, I'm sorry."
"Yeah." Bridgett nodded sympathetically. "It sounds terrible, I'm sorry."
"Thank you. I don't suppose you had anybody like him? As in, a terrible ex."
"Well, nothing to that extent, but yeah, I've had a few rough exes." Bridgett shook her head at the memory of some of them. "One was particularly bad that comes to memory… But what's past is past!"
(Hey you know what would make them feel better? …………………………..chucks Jay at high speed)
(Lol yeah, let's go look at the precious ones)
Before Allison could respond, Bridgett stood and walked to the bed that Jay and Drew were sleeping on. Jay was cuddled up next to Drew and Drew had his arms around the little (dare I say) bundle of a boy. They were adorable.
Bridgett looked over at Allison and Kam and waved them over to look at the two.

Allison looked at the two, rolled her eyes and smiled. "I never had kids, and I'm kinda glad. However, this one seems alright." she then stood up and looked down at the boy. "So how long will recovery take? You have a library to run Bridgett."
"Recovery depends on his reaction. I'd guess at least 6 months, but I have no idea." Bridgett's eyes widened as she processed Allison's words. "Crumbs, you're right! I have a library to run. Do you still have the keys? Or did you give them back?" She was still waking up and a bit frazzled now, she couldn't remember.
(WAIT BRIDGETT THEY NEED THEIR NEWS)
Jay stirred quietly and opened his eyes, looking up at the flustered Bridgett, sleeping Drew, and Allison. He wasn't entirely sure what emotion was on Allison's face, as he was pretty bad at reading emotions. He rubbed his eyes and yawned. "What's going on…?"
(I KNOW BUT DREW'S NOT HERE. IS KAM? @FireSky @Anyone_You_Wish WHERE ARE YOU)
"Hey, hon." Bridgett calmed as she looked at the waking boy. She bent slightly to push some of his hair back from his face. "I'll be back in a little bit, okay? I have to go back to the library for a little bit."
She looked at Allison. "Call me to give me updates?" She gently pick-pocketed Drew to enter her phone number into his contacts. "Like, for anything."

"Yes, sorry! Here it is!" Allison pulled the key out of her pocket and gave it to Bridgett. "I'll keep an eye on Jay for you." she said. "By the way, I put the book underneath that scanny thing and it beeped. Did I break it?"
"Wait, wait, wait…" Jay said in a tired, slightly slurred voice. "I don't think I'm following… where are you going? Updates…? What're we talking about?" His hair was even more fluffy than usual from sleeping on it.
Bridgett chuckled at Allison. "Thanks. No, you didn't break it, it's supposed to do that."
She turned back to Jay and explained. "I have to go back to the library for a while. You're all gonna call me every now and then to update me on what's going on, okay?"
"Mmmm…" Jay closed his eyes and leaned against Drew again. "Good luck have fun… I can't sleep anymooore…" He whined. "My chest hurts now; is it supposed to do that…?"
(ARE YOU KIDDING ME?)
Bridgett felt rushed and panicked. "Allison, get a nurse now and have her check Jay out. I'm so sorry, I have to go for now." She wanted to stay, but Allison was right, she's the only one there to run the library. I should really put up the 'to hire' sign. She kissed her fingertips and brushed them over Jay's forehead. "I'll be back soon."
She turned and sped out before she could talk herself out of it.
(He'll be fiiiiine)
"Don't worry, it's fiiine…" Jay looked up again, but Bridgett was gone. "It's hot in here." He remarked mostly to himself as he lay back on the cot, staring at the ceiling.
