Drew, a bit shocked at first, hugs the kid back. He whispers, "It's not stupid. Being afraid is never stupid. Neither is crying. Know that you don't need to be afraid to do it around me. You're okay, Jay… You're okay. You can cry… You can cry…" He hugged the shaking boy tighter.

@Fraust

(Ya know I feel like Drew would think to turn on the freaking lights lmao)
A couple tears rolled down Jay's cheeks, and he did his best to ignore them. Stop it! Stop crying! You're weak, just like they always said. Jay's IV tugged hard on his arm when he moved it, and he hissed quietly in pain. Why can't I just yank this thing out? It's causing more trouble than it's worth.

@Swiggotyy_Swootyy

(He was going to and then the kid hugged him… XD)
Drew hugged him tighter. "Shhh, let it out, kiddo. It's alright. You're not weak… Just let it out…" He quickly hopped up and went to turn on the lights then quickly went back to Jay and hugged him again. "You can cry, it's alright."

(Does he remember that every time Jay panicked Bridgett started playing with his hair)

(He does but, in this moment, he wants the kid to start working out his stuff and cry.)

@Fraust

Jay looked up as the lights flicked on, quickly trying to brush his tears away. There, the 'threat' is gone. Now pull yourself together. However, he still went back to hugging Drew when he returned, slowly and painfully forcing himself to calm down by holding his breath and the like.

@Swiggotyy_Swootyy

Drew, still hugging him, had one arm wrapped around Jay's shoulders. The other was buried in Jay's hair, playing with it gently, calming him. "Shh… It's okay… Everything's alright now… Don't worry… I'm here…"

@Fraust

Why am I comfortable with Drew? I thought men always terrified me, because… well… Jay's pulse slowed as he leaned his head against Drew's shoulder, biting back more tears. He was holding his breath at that point in an attempt to slow it down, but that strategy was making him lightheaded.

(I sense the moment is over, so Allison'll just interfere a little bit, but if you want it to continue, she hasn't done much.)

The smell of Drew's coffee woke Allison after a little bit. She woke and saw Jay clinging to Drew, and was silent so as not to disturb them. Allison felt really sorry for the kid, and quietly stood up and was looking for the source of the strong scent. She found it, and smelled the coffee. Seeing it was in a cup, she took a small drink, and spit it out. Still being quiet, she put the cup back and sat across from Drew and told Jay, "Just breathe. Remember that there is nothing in here that will hurt you. Nobody in here has any intention to hurt you, and we're here to make sure you are safe. I believe it was Drew that brought you some food and something to drink. By the way, thank you for that." she said kindly. Allison turned a small light on over the bed so as not to disturb Bridgett. "The switch is over here, turn it off when you are ready to sleep." she said before picking the book up and telling Drew, "Keep an eye on that monitor. If it spikes or goes too far up, either calm him down or call a nurse depending on how bad it is." and then beginning to read more.

@Fraust

Jay was getting drowsy again, and he eventually fell asleep. Something about his hair being messed with just made him feel relaxed and tired. He was still leaning against Drew, tear streaks visible on his cheeks.

(I have to go in a few minutes, but I'll be back within an hour after I leave, okay?)
Bridgett started to stir. She was somewhere in the fog of her mind, she was between asleep and awake. She was having a nightmare. Her physical self began to move and her expression tensed.

Bridgett started to stir. She was somewhere in the fog of her mind, she was between asleep and awake. She was having a nightmare. Her physical self began to move and her expression tensed.

Bridgett's movements were enough to break Allison out of her reading trance. She looked up and over, seeing Bridgett become a little restless. Noticing that it was morning, Allison moved over towards Bridgett and sat down. "Hey, wake up. Its morning and you aren't having a nice sleep. Wakey wakey, there are no eggs or bakey…" she said, getting the coffee from the tray Drew brought in. "Drew brought this dark brown, bitter liquid for us. Hopefully it wakes you up."

@Bri_Soto

('Ello, 'ello!)
Bridgett shot up, colliding her forehead with Allison's. "Ow!" They both reacted.
She pressed her palm to her head and sighed. "Sorry, Allison."

"Don't worry. I'm used to it." she said, only slightly grimacing at the pain. "Anyways, here is that liquid. I don't know its name, but its similar to something from home. Full of this drug that wakes people up. Its disgusting, but whatever." Allison finished by handing the cup to Bridgett and picking up her own. "Here, if you want more you can have mine. If you're a germ-a-phobe you can swap the lids."

@Loudpugpug42

(Is Bridgett or Allison gonna notice that Jay and Drew are asleep over here being adorable)

(You are sleeping and I am giving Bridgett some coffee. Let us bond a little and then we can look at you like zoo animals)

@Bri_Soto

Bridgett accepted the cup. She could tell what it was immediately by the smell. "It's called coffee. Thanks."
She took a sip and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. She smiled. Dreams weren't terrible tonight and feels like I got a good amount of sleep. That's good!

@Loudpugpug42

mm, co-fee

"Seems gross. Anyways. I was reading that book. Turns out, there is quite a bit of science and math behind it and it seems plausible. Thanks to the book, I could finally get home. I just have a problem, and I want to know your opinion." Allison said, before readjusting her position and looking Bridgett straight in the eyes.

"If I go home, I will forever live in fear of my ex husband. If I don't go home however, I will die in vain, knowing that he got what he wanted. He gets to know that he sent me away and more of me will end up here. More women will be sent away and Marcus gets to know that there is no consequence to what he's done, and potentially doing. What should I do?"
