Drew sat on the side of the bed next to Bridgett and chuckled softly. "I think you should. You're kinda slap-happy." His eyes twinkled with a light laughter.

Drew smiled and gently brushed a stray strand of hair from his face. "Don't you worry about me. I'll be fine." He then quickly retracted his hand and then took a deep breath, wondering why he did that.

Drew carried her over to a cot and laid the cute, sleepy girl down. He brushed another hair out of her face while his other hand lingered a little too long on her hip. He then shook his head and walked over to the light switch and flipped it off.
