Layla looked around in an attempt to find a hotel to stay at, but was turned away a couple times because they were full. She stumbled upon a cute little house advertising vacant spots and was able to claim the last spot, wearily dragging her bag and backpack to her room. It was a nice place, quaint and sweet.
Aerwyn put her things in the small closet before stepping outside the room and seeing another girl head into the room beside hers. She made a spur of the moment decision and went to go sy hello to her neighbour.
Walking the short distance, Aerwyn started second guessing her decision but by then she had stopped in front if the door. She took a deep breathe and knocked three times, stopping for a second in between each.
Layla opened the door to see another girl standing there. “I think you have the wrong room,” she replied with a sheepish smile, thinking that the girl was looking for a friend.
"No, I saw you head inside a few minutes after I settled in and decided to introduce myself. I am Aerwyn but you can call me Wynni." She smiled
“Oh, hello,” Layla responded, looking a bit flustered. She hadn’t expected to meet any people this fast, though she wasn’t complaining. “I’m Layla. Nice to meet you.”
"Are you here for the Festival?" She asked, leaning against the wall
“Yes, actually,” Layla said, her eyes widening a bit. “Are you?” It was strange that she had gotten an invitation, seeing as she lived across an ocean from the Netherlands now, and hadn’t lived close to them even before she had moved to Canada.
"Yes, I was very surprised as I live on an island way up north near the mountains." She said. "I wonder how they even managed to find where I lived considering my people didnt not use phones or computers until a few days ago." She laughed and leaned against the wall. "If you are not too tired or too busy, would you like to tour the town with me? It is my first time here."
Robin wandered around town for a few more minutes before she decided to check into a hotel. She had found one a little ways away from the main part of town but it worked. Once Robin checked into her room, she plopped her suitcase down on the floor and kicked off her shoes. The festival had to be starting soon.
“That sounds fun,” Layla agreed with a smile. “It’s my first time being here too. I don’t live anywhere near the Netherlands either, since I currently live in Canada. Before that I lived in Egypt, so I haven’t exactly had a reason to visit.”
"Perfect, shall we get togather in say, half an hour? That will give us enough time to get prepared for a few hours of touring." She said
Layla thought for a brief moment before nodding. “That sounds fine. I could use a shower after the long flight,” she agreed. “See you in half an hour.”
Aerwyn smiled and waved before turning and walking back to her room. She chose an outfit and quickly took a shower. She came out and dried her hair, using her ability to get rid of some of the water and then quickly styling it. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. Sorting through her things, she found the bag she was looking for and picked it up and put her essentials in there. A bottle of water followed by her phone, wallet, and extra hairties.

Layla took a shower as well, using her hand as a blowdryer with some weak flames. She had gotten really good at not burning places down after several close calls when she was younger. She wore a scarlet tank top with light-colored, high-waisted jeans and her favorite black sneakers. She got her small backpack and put some water, gum, lipstick, and her wallet in it. She smiled at her reflection, deeming herself ready to go.
Aerwyn came out if her room and knocked on Layla's door. She took a deep breath to calm her nerves.
Layla jumped at the knock, laughing at herself for getting scared, and went to open the door. She swung it open to reveal Aerwyn. “Hi!” she chirped. “Ready to go?”
Adrian paid the fare right before he opened the door from his taxi. He was in the Netherlands and he couldn't believe it. Neither did his gangmates as they bombarded him with texts about how he was after they left once he boarded the plane to get there. He was face to face with a hotel, one he would be staying at for the next two weeks or so. He had made a reservation online while he was in Canada so he didn't expect much hassle. He went in and quickly got his key to room 50, a private suite on the top floor. One of his mates, Razor, came along with him, a bit of a watchful eye to make sure he wouldn't get hurt but he wasn't in the way. He pulled his bags along with him to the elevator and watched as the numbers went up before he got to his floor. A little while later, once he finished unpacking, he decided to go back down to the lobby knowing that he was bored and had nothing to do.
Imperos went into a small cafe and got a coffee and muffin then sat down. He pushed his hair out of his eyes as he sat then began drinking his coffee.
"Of course, where do you want to go first?" Aerwyn asked
Layla thought for a moment. “I’m kind of hungry, so maybe we could go get something to eat?” she suggested.
"Great! I think I spied this very lovely cafe on my way from the train station. Shall we head there?" She asked, grabbing a pair of sunglasses from her bag and putting them on.
“Sounds good,” Layla agreed, getting her own pair of aviator sunglasses. “I’m so excited!”
(so i realized i’m making her personality way different than i originally intended lol oh well)
(Lol, I'm still fleshing out Aerwyn and I think Layla is a good way to bounce personalities off of)
Aerwyn smiled and gestured to the main door. "Let go!"
(lol yeah)
Layla closed her room door and walked out of the hotel, holding the door open for Aerwyn with a smile. Her stomach grumbled and she giggled.
Ava came back down into the lobby and walked over to a local cafe. With a sigh, she entered and ordered just a small cup of tea, black tea to be precise. Then she sat down at a nearby table and rested her elbow on the table, and her chin in her hand.
