Vaughn smiled softly and shrugged one of his shoulders. “I have no where else to go, so why not,” he said, hesitantly rubbing at Kaz’s knee. His jaw was clenched in concentration, and though he couldn’t tell, he was pressing done normally.
Kaz nodded, grinning widely up at him. "Yeah. Yeah, that'd be nice," he said as he leaned against Vaughn. He was about to relax against him when he realized that Vaughn wasn't crushing his knee. "Babe, you aren't hurting me, you actually did it!" he exclaimed quietly
Vaughn looked down at his hand on Kaz’s knee with wide eyes, then back up at Kaz’s face. A grin slowly formed on his lips as he laughed softly in a delighted manner. Suddenly, he was tumbling back onto the bed with Kaz, laying on his side with his arms around Kaz.
Kaz let out a squeak as he was tugged back onto the bed, but it quickly turned to laughter as well. "Oh my god, you big dork, we were worried for nothing," he laughed, grinning widely as he snuggled into Vaughn's hold
“I’m trying really hard right now to keep myself from hurting you, you know,” Vaughn mumbled. He was telling the truth. He was just about to give himself a migraine or something from it. He kissed Kaz’s cheek gently before tugging Kaz closer to him.
“Then don’t try. Just let me lay on you or something while you relax,” Kaz suggested, shrugging his shoulders as he let himself relax into Vaughn’s hold
Vaughn smiled and kept a relaxed grip on Kaz. He tilted his head to kiss gently at Kaz’s cheekbone. “Alright… Let’s try to get comfortable.”
“C’mere,” Kaz said, rolling so he could sit up. He crawled over to the bed, flipping the covers back and crawling inside as he waited for Vaughn
Vaughn said up and scooted over so he was laying next to Kaz under the covers. He sighed softly, rolling over so he could wrap his arms around Kaz’s waist more easily.
Kaz smiled happily as Vaughn got into the bed with him, rolling onto his side so that he was nose to nose with him. “Love you,” he mumbled, pressing a soft kiss to Vaughn’s nose before wrapping his arms around him and snuggling into his chest

Those words again- ‘love you’. What did Vaughn feel? Was he supposed to feel anything? He had been in relationships before, but they were all meaningless and nothing like that had ever been said, really. He wasn’t sure if he could say it yet and really mean it, but he would if it would make Kaz happy. “Love you too,” He murmured softly.
Kaz smiled softly at Vaughn’s words. He knew he was probably just saying it because he did, but that was okay. He could live with Vaughn only half liking him, even if the dull, sad ache in his chest tried to tell him otherwise. He closed his eyes, willing himself to drift off
Vaughn pressed a gentle kiss to Kaz’s cheek, shutting his eyes tightly. He couldn’t fall asleep though. He was supposed to love Kaz. Why was it taking so long for him to start loving him? Something must be wrong with him.

Kaz yawned softly as he woke up, not bothering to open his eyes just yet. It took him a minute to realize where he was, a small smile crossing his lips as he realized Vaughn was still holding onto him

And Jules doesn't know she's hearing ppl's thoughts, she thinks everyone is being annoyingly chatty, lol. Vaughn shifted a bit as he slept, a light frown on his lips. He hadn’t taken his medication before sleeping like he was supposed to be doing, so he wasn’t feeling too good.
