Kaz flinched a little at the words, frowning down at the floor. "Sorry," he muttered, not knowing what else to say. Lovely. Now you're pathetic and guilt tripping for drugs. Wonder what would happen if you jammed that needle into your heart instead of your throat, his mind hissed
//yeeted
he would be yeeted
(Lmao y’all are insane)
Vaughn exhaled slowly at the apology. He wanted to take what he had added on back, but he obviously couldn’t at that point. So instead, he muttered a strained sounding ‘sorry’, sounding like it was very hard to say before he shifted a bit, facing away from Kaz.
//it’s 12 am and I haven’t slept properly in three months so uh
(I haven't slept properly in like…a month lol. my sleep schedule is so broken at this point)
Kaz resisted the urge to whip his head in Vaughn's direction. Sorry? He was sorry? Kaz was the only one who had done anything wrong. Congratulations, you have officially pissed off, almost beat up, and guilt tripped your roommate in the span of 24 hours. Just pick something to do and stick with it dammit, his mind hissed. Kaz stayed silent, wincing a little at the headache his mind was giving him. The van suddenly slowed, and the group was rocked as it went over a speed bump. He wished he had windows to see where they were going, but the back of the van was completely closed in
From the corner, Tenor lifts his head. Feels woozy, funny. Damit boy Why'd you let em drug you again. Gods damit, now we don't even know where the hell we are headed! They only drug you because they know it is easier to deal with you that way. Shaking his head, trying to clear it, an image of cracking his skull against the wall and tearing his brain to bits. Temptation. Refusal. There are others in here with him. Bus going thump and thump and screech. Tenor wants company. Tenor wants to be good.
Vaughn’s fingers dug into the material of the seat to keep from bumping around too much. His eyes flicked around warily, glancing to the other strangers in the back of the van. Fresh blood, just for you, the whispers suggested. He shook his head to himself, trying to clear his head.
Aliana was smiling and humming a happy little tune. She swayed back and forth.
//are they all stuck in the same bus
(yeah they're all in the back of the same van)
The van slowly rumbled to a stop, and guards began to head for the back of the van's doors. Kaz was wrenched from his seat, wincing as the guard holding him dug his fingers into an old bruise. The guards began to shove them all out of the van, the scientists following closely behind
“Yay. Being taken from the asylum - which I did technically sign up for - to some secret place - which I did not sign up for. Hey, watch it!” She said as a guard wrenched her arm.
As Aliana was shoved out she fell to the ground. She just sort of laid there giggling without a care in the world.
Still cuffed to her, Venezia fell to. “Get up,” she said as she did, tugging at her arm. It was an awkward position.
Vaughn growled when he was jerked from the van. He hit a guards hand off his shoulder, snapping at the man that he could walk himself. He walked at a steady pace, hands stuffed into the pockets of his trousers.
Aliana pulled herself up still giggling like a mad man, "Sorry Veny!"
Vaughn's movement forced Kaz to jerk towards him, what with them still being cuffed together. He winced, the cuffs digging into the half open wounds on his wrists beneath the bandages. They stepped out of the van and into the sunlight. They were in a large courtyard, the yard green and covered in lavender. They were in front of a massive, futuristic-looking building that seemed like an old hospital that had been given new life. Other vans were pulling up, guards ushering them to the front doors roughly
She sighed and yanked at the cuff, walking off as the guards ushered them towards the doors.
Aliana skipped along side Veny. She returned to her regularly schedule humming.
Vaughn looked down at the cuffs, glaring down at them. He glanced around, eyes squinting at the decor. What the hell was this place?
The guards pushed them through the doors and into a large tiled lobby. Scientists were seemingly everywhere, and upon closer inspection some of them seemed not entirely human. The receptionist, who at first looked like three different people, was actually what looked like a set of triplets joined at the hip. She was pointing groups left and right, and there were bandages wrapped around her center neck. Many of the odd-looking people had bandages around their necks, and one of her heads looked up at them as they got to the counter. One of the scientists with them handed her a slip of paper and she nodded. "Group 009, rooming hall B," she said, pointing in the direction of a hallway marked B. The guards ushered them through it, passing through the large metal-detector like gate
Vaughn’s eyes widened a tad upon seeing the strange looking people. Then, he just felt sick to his stomach at the sight. Those three people had been attached. Would they be doing experiments like that to them? Surly that couldn’t be legal!
Venezia did a double take at the woman. “It’s like… a Siamese twin. But with triplets.” She pulled a face, the sight making her uncomfortable.
