Midnight grabs the italian dressing and squeezes most of the bottle out into her salad. She pauses, then squirts the rest into her mouth, where she had some half-chewed salad.

“No. But who is, honestly?” Midnight says around bites of food.

Midnight steals the rest of the salad and eats it. She then pulls a tray of warm cookies out of the void. “Share?” she said to Cinna.

Ame looked over towards the source of her mother’s voice, her face instantly lighting up when she saw Pandora. “Mom!” She quickly goes over to Pandora and hugs her. “Sorry for running off…” She mumbles. “Again…

Pandora smiles at her child as she hugs Amethyst back. "Oh, it is fine. I can not blame you for your decision. However, I would have preferred it if you had told me instead of just disappearing. I would have allowed you to go, you know. Contrary to popular belief, I am not a controlling egomaniac. "

A thunderclap sounds as Ÿdra brings her hands together, expelling everyone else from the area, leaving just her and Avhira in the glitch area.

"Now that the distractions are gone, you were saying you 'choose' to exist within the boundaries of this world? You are sorely mistaken. You are just as inextricably bound and chained as the rest of the creatures here. You think you have any chance against something from beyond the furthest boundaries of your infinitely small plane of existance?" she snarls.

(Mh. . . to be fair about half of the northern continent is under Ÿdra's control, or will be soon. I'm willing to debate this in PMs, though. I do want to see exactly what Avhira can do, considering that if she's more powerful than Ÿdra, who has a fair bit of say in, you know, existance itself, I'm genuinely curious to see what Avhira is.)

(midnight is probably on of the most powerful, but nobody actually knows that bc she rarely shows how powerful she is)

(The fact of the matter is that Ÿdra is from beyond the Outer Planes where the Outer Gods reside. It's as simple as that, there's no really beating that. Even if she isn't particularly "powerful," she is literally not subject to the normal laws of the world. They literally cannot apply. There's no extra steps of being a dimension hopper, she literally just couldn't care less about anything, and therefore cannot be "beaten." But there's also the fact that, being from beyond the Outer Planes, she is inherently more powerful. A dimension hopper's power resides in the laws of the world they're currently in. Just because Avhira's a shapeshifter who's been alive for quite a long time now doesn't mean that she can simultaneously be bound and not bound by the laws of the current universe. Normal physics, such as friction, gravity and other things like that, still have to apply to Avhira. Those are all bonds she can't escape, though with magic she can at least loosen them. Willpower, or determination, mean nothing when you're still earthbound. If willpower was all it took to defy and ignore the basic laws of everything, humans would have long ago figured that out and we would already be playing god.)

(I feel like if everyone is claiming they’re the one of the most powerful, then really, no one is)
(And “powerful people” should be limited to a few as it was before. Ex. Gemma, Vis, Ÿdra)
(Just my opinion tho :)

(midnight is def less powerful than ydra, but she could still put up a good fight against her. def not beat her, but at least give her some good injuries. the kind that cant be healed. even by magic.)

@Null-Gravity language

(Anybody can put up a good fight with Ÿdra, that's the best part about her. It's not as though she's flawless. She bleeds red, and thickly, and is stronger from it. She can lose limbs permanently, and can be killed. But the best part is, she doesn't stay dead. Whether it's an hour or centuries, she always comes back.)

Deleted user

(what i meant is that midnight can give ydra injuries that will stay with her throughout her next lifetimes. permanent.)
