Nori hugged his arms tighter. "Y-yeah… weird." He cleared his throat, then got up to go to the restroom. "I'll be back in a second"
Nori hugged his arms tighter. "Y-yeah… weird." He cleared his throat, then got up to go to the restroom. "I'll be back in a second"
Kane tilted his head. He waved bye and leaned on the other. He sighed and thought about checking on nori. He went to get up, his oxygen tube pulling him back.
Nori lifted off his jacket, then the layers of sweaters, then the wrapping that held his wings close to his back. He sighed as he stretched them out, watching a few loose feathers fall to the ground. It had been years since he was able to openly show his wings. Besides, the scientists that did this to him could still be out there.
Kane walked back to his tank and flipped it off.
Norkhal’rokh watched Nori, already knowing that he was lying. Whatever those feathers were, whether they were wings or something else, Nori wanted to keep it a secret.
After Nori left, he turned to Kane and his eyes widened slightly in surprise.
“What are you doing, Kane? Rest. You’ve had a rough day as it is. I can check on Nori,”he said gently, a bit confused by Kane’s actions.
Norkhal’rokh then stood, watching Kane as he moved to gently knock on the bathroom door. After knocking, he noticed his pale skin and winced a bit. It wasn’t just stress causing the hue.
Kane laid back down curling in his blankets
Nori coughed, frantically picking up the down feathers that were raining to the ground.
"Y-yeah?"
kane sighed finding his phone and listening to music
Norkhal’rokh glanced at Kane, then turned back to the door. He hesitated a moment, temporarily overwhelmed by how unused to the situation he was. The last time he had ever known, and taken care of, a true friend was when he was twelve. And his friend still died.
“Are you alright? If something’s wrong, or is bothering you, you can tell us. We won’t judge, I promise,”Norkhal’rokh said gently.
Kane looked over at his oxygen and back at the door. Deciding on something. He unhooked his tube an walked over. He clung to nok for support.
Norkhal’rokh noticed Kane, furrowing his brow in confusion. He didn’t complain though, and gently wrapped an arm around Kane to support him. He just hoped Kane wouldn’t notice how cold Norkhal’rokh’s skin became when he paled.
Kane had been just a little under regular temp, which is why there were so many blankets on his bed. His breathing was labored as he drew on the others chest " he okay? "
Nori's wings knocked something over as he cussed in Japanese.
"I'm fine! Really! I am! Go rest please!"
Kane looked to nok before opening the door. Not like I won't see his underhalf at some point. He thought. But what he seen next was almost a heart attack moment. His eyes held all his words. The beauty he saw and the honest wonder.
Nori's eyes filled with fear as his wings folded downward.
"Don't. Fucking. Say a word."
Kane gave a more then likely sarcastic squeak. ( The fucking irony.) He walked in, hugging the other.
(lmaooo)
Nori stared in shock, not really knowing what to do with his arms. "Uhhh…"
(What am I missing?)
Norkhal’rokh watched Kane open the door, then stared at the wings. So, he had actually been right on the money. Well, he did know a few strange individuals, and he, himself, was among them.
“Gorgeous,”he mumbled in awe at the wings.
His skin seemed to have become paler, even though he had calmed down.
Kane shook his head and wrapped noris arms around his waist. He traced letters on noris c'est " a hug ding ding. "
(Because nori said not to say anything, and Kane cant rly talk…)
Nori stepped back, fear still rampant in his brown eyes. "You cant tell anyone what youve seen, okay??"
(Well shit, lol)
Norkhal’rokh smiled softly.
“I won’t tell anyone. I’ve known a few unusual individuals. And… well… I think I qualify as well,”he replied reassuringly to Nori.
" and I think that list may be increased by one, feel my skin.." he wrote an pressed his hand to the others neck.
Nori nodded. "P-please. Wait… what do you mean you qualify as well?"
He gasped at the feel of Kane's hands. "God… you need to get under those blankets again."
" it won't help. Theyve got me on heating blankets and everything. But while I was out.. I think I made a deal or something.. it's fuzzy.."
Norkhal’rokh shied away from the question, then looked at Kane with concern. He looked back at Nori after a moment.
“I… No one outside my family knows this, so, keep this to yourselves please. I… I’m actually anemic, have been since I was around seventeen. That’s what my appointment was earlier. I need regular blood transfusions to keep up with it, but… that’s actually not all it is…”Norkhal’rokh said.
