Vanessa sat back down on the bed " I was contemplating leaving but I didn't want to be one of those Girl-… whatever we are" she said

“It’s okay, he’d go looking for you but he’d understand.” She sat down on the ground next to Vanessa “he likes you. He doesn’t really want a label for it but he does like you.”

She smiled looking down. At her hand which had a tattoo on her ring finger which read the words Crazy

"get some sleep kitty. If you are going to leave, stay safe." Harley patted her shoulder and walked off to check on her son

Vanessa sighed putting her hands back against the sheet she looked up at the ceiling tossing her head back

Brink had gotten up early in the morning for some reason. he was usually a late sleeper. He went out the window to the roof and sat down, pulling the blanket around his shoulders tightly

¨My Moms gonna kill me ¨ she said. she quickly made his bed and walked out of his room towards the door

"I know cats are normally nocturnal but isn't this a bit late to be up?" Jack's asked from the couch, glancing over the edge to watch vanessa leave

¨Gosh is your entire family up¨Vanessa chcukled looking at the door

Jack's shook her head "nah, just me and Brink. Mom went back to bed after checking up on you and dad has been dead asleep all night."

¨Mhh well I was gonna head out and go back home¨ she said.

"you sure that's a good idea? won't your mom be mad?" she asked, getting up from the couch and leaning against the wall

¨Oh She will be furious It´ll be hours and hours of playing a cat and mouse game¨ she smirked

"wht if she hurts you again?" she asked, not smiling back at Vanessa

She shrugged ¨It´s not like I´m needed I´m just a cat everyone would much rather have a dog¨ she said sadly

Jacks shook her head "you know that's not true. Stay here with us for a bit, relax and don't worry about your mom. If she comes looking for you, we'll deal with it."

¨I appreciate the offer but I´m not a house cat I´m a fierce tiger who has to deal with her mama cat¨ she said

Jacks nodded "sure you are. well, if that's what you want, we won't stop you." he shrugged and went back to the couch.

she took a step walking outside shutting the door behind her

Brink glanced up as the sun began to rise. He smiled softly and closed his eyes, enjoying the warmth

Vanessa looked up at the sky before continuing to walk well more like limp

Brink tilted his head as he saw a figure walking away from the house. He stood, ready to go after them before taking a deep breath and shaking his head, knowing Vanessa would just tell him to go back home. Instead, he went back into the house and flopped next to Jacks, resting his head on her arm.
"what's wrong, crazy?" she asked, hugging her brother close
"I'm confused…"

Vanessa wondered into a dark alleyway looking around

"'Bout what?" she asked, slowly starting to play with his hair, knowing that it got her brother calm
"I don't think she likes me," he said, glancing up
"It's not that Brink, she just has to deal with her mom. don't worry."

Vanessa swiftly walked back to thier house walking in ¨I forgot my phone sorry¨ she said
