Vanessa shrugged with a smile

Brink came up from the basement a few minutes later, glaring behind him at his sister when she promptly shoved him out of the basement. He ran a hand through his usually tousled hair and walked into the kitchen to grab some water, gaping when he saw Vanessa.

She heard him and turned to face him smiling brightly

Brink stood there for a few moments just taking her in before finally shaking himself slightly and walking to her "you look beautiful, kitty cat." He murmured, a soft smile gracing his features. He had definately under dressed for the date, only wearing a deep blue button down shirt with a black tie and black dress pants.

She blushed, a darker shade than before " you didn't tell me what to wear so I decided to dress up but I van change if it's too much" she said

"no! No, you're perfect. Besides, dad gave you extra clothes for later so itll be fine.” He reassured

She smiled " okay" she said looking at him

Brink offered her his arm and waved to the door. "You ready kitty cat?"

She smiled taking his arm in her own

He smiled softly and guided her out the door, trying to block out the squeals he could hear from inside. "So is there anything you want to do?" He asked with a small smile, gently taking her hand in his and lacing their fingers together

" as long as I'm with you I don't care" she said giving his hand a squeeze
