"Okay, see ya Ry!"
Lucian frowned a tad more in thought. “Morrigan, where are we going?” He finally asked, ducking under a low branch.
“My brother/- my brother was buried here.” morrigan’s voice quivered, saturated with emotion. “And my mom left something for me a few years ago. I need it.”
(Okay, see ya then. have fun at rehearsal!)
Ryan walked down the familiar streets, dodging the large crowds that bustled through. Well, the population has grown since I left… After walking for a few blocks he turned off onto a side road, one that would hopefully take him back home.
(Oh, Alright! Good luck)
Lucian nodded slowly in understanding. “Alright..” he said softly. Her brother was buried in this decaying place? He wished that the boy could have gotten a better burial spot.
(Thanks!)
They finally arrived at a clearing, where a tiny stone gravestone was set, engraved with the following words: David Corvia, born to soar. Your sister loved you. Morrigan knelt in front of it, breaking down completely.
(Ach bye now! Sorry!)
His house looked almost exactly the same. The only thing different was the overgrown plants outside it. Huh…mom usually kept those trimmed. The gravel crunched under his feet as he walked up and knocked lightly on the door.
(Seeyah)
Lucian glanced over the writing on the gravestone before kneeling down beside Morrigan, slipping his arms around her. He decided not to say anything. He was glad that she was getting it all out.
No one answered. Ryan knocked again, louder this time. Still no reply. He began to panic as he knocked again.
Kameo looked towards Anjou, trying to remember the history lessons his mother had given him.
"Anjou is the war sector. They birth their best warriors there." his mom had picked small Kameo up, throwing him over her shoulders as she laughed, "It's where daddy came from."
"Daddy!" 3 year old Kameo had laughed, showing gaps in his teeth.
"That's right, daddy. I danced there once. It was nice, dancing for the people who didn't have light in their lives." his mama threaded her fingers through Kameo's, smiling. "I dance for not only others, but for myself. Because it is the light of my life. The steps, the music, all tied in with the beat." she took a deep breath, closing her eyes as Kameo stared at her in awe, "Dance is simply magical."
"I want to dance too." Kameo had said, determined to have light in his life as well.
His mama had laughed, "I have no doubt that you'll be the best dancer, my little chameleon, but for now, let's get back to our lesson, no?"
"Yes mama."
After a few minutes, a younger girl opened the door. Ryan immediatly recognized her as his sister Ella.
"What do-Ryan!"
The normally gloomy Ella hugged her brother tightly before calling out for her twin. "Allie! Allie it's Ryan!"
Allie ran to the door and jumped on her older brother, squeezing him tightly. God… she's taller than me…
Cicada pulled out the daggers next. The handles were inscribed with the names of each crew member. They were a birthday present from them, she noticed now that Brecken's name wasn't on them. They were of the highest quality, and they all spent a fortune on buying them. She put them in her bag.
He laughed along with his sisters. Allie looked at him, her grey-blue eyes filled with hope.
"Did you find him?"
Ryan sighed sadly, shaking his head. "Well…no. I haven't found him yet."
The twins nodded simultaneously.
He smiled slightly, peering over their shoulders. "Are mom and dad home?"
Whoah I missed barely anything hi again!! I made the mistake of wearing 5 inch heels for three hours ouch my feet hurt)
Morrigan swallowed as Lucian held her, crying silent tears while she lay the roses carefully down in front of the grave. “He—he had white wings.”, she choked out, unsure why she was telling him this. “Like an angel.”
Hallooo?)
Cicada lastly pulled out her outfit. She had bought it a week or so before Brecken betrayed them. There was a simple brown vest, with a brown belt to go over it to attach her bag to. A red shirt with a gold band around the waist, gray pants, gold bandana for whatever she need, and a pair of black gold trimmed boots. Cicada hastily put them on and found the sewing kit she had put in all those years ago knowing she couldn't stay away from the sea forever. She threw on her brown cloak over the outfit and returned to The Andromeda.
Ace needed to be cremated. Kameo walked into the medbay, turning white when he saw Ace's body, covered by the sheet. Anjou was the war sector, surely it had cremation places. Lugging Ace's body over his shoulder, Kameo made his way into town, still slightly drunk.
Cicada saw Kameo walking with Ace's body into town, she caught up to him, "You doing okay?"
"Who're you?" he swayed around, barely keeping his eyes open, "Captain? I'm busy right now. We can sing karaoke later." he pulled Ace's body closer to him, "Don't touch the dead."
"I'm Cicada," she said softly, "I'm new to the crew."
"Cicada. Isn't that a bug?" he laughed, vision blurry, "Buzz, buzz, can you fly?" he took a cautious step forward, holding Ace's body carefully.
"No," Cicada laughed a little, "though I can look like I'm flying at times."

(Oof I’m back for a bit)
“He sounds amazing..” Lucian said softly, rubbing her back gently.
(Yay!)
“He was amazing.”, she whispered, gripping the grass tightly. “And I failed him.”
