(I should go too. Goodnight!)
Daso accepted the embrace but didn't return it. He hated feeling this vulnerable, even in front of someone he trusted. "It's…I'm okay now. Promise."

(Good morning!! I missed a whole lot, per usual, but thanks Abigail for adding in silver. And I see Leah and Daso are having a moment…)
But I’m the monster, not him. Morrigan didn’t say it out loud, but the thought was written all over her face. “It was Anjou. No one cared, me telling wouldn’t have made a difference. It only would’ve gotten worse.”
(Same here, glad all of that worked out.)
“You don’t know that for sure..” Lucian said, trailing off towards the end of the sentence at her expression.
“I do. I tried. It only made it worse.” She was struggling against the flashbacks, the memories, her head pounding.
Lucian nodded slowly in understanding. “You’re okay now, though. He’s gone, yes? He can’t hurt you anymore.”
(Well….. I’m thinking of bringing him back when they go to Anjou)
“As long as I hide on the boat when we stop by Anjou.”, she said miserably.
(Oh, interesting)
Lucian hummed in response, rubbing her back gently. “I never seem to get to leave this ship, so I’ll be here with you when we do get there.”
“Th-thank you, Lucian. Really. And I um— I understand if you don’t want to take an hour off work anymore.” Of course he doesn’t! Who would want to spend time with you?
Lucian smiled in response to that. “I would want to skip that? Hell, I’d take the whole day off if I could. Believe me, I’m looking forward to it.” The ‘day off’ idea made him think. He should try and find a day where he could have a break, let Jared take care of any medical needs, possibly. He made a mental note to write that down later.
Morrigan couldn’t help a small smile. She pulled away from the hug, and although exhausted and sorrowful, a bit of happiness shone through. “ I should probably go check in Ace, I’m worried about him. Is there anything else you needed?”
Lucian felt pleased that he was at least able to make her smile, even if it was in the smallest bit. He shook his head slowly, leaning back in the desk chair. “No, I’ll probably finish some paperwork and the drink. Maybe go see what all the yelling was about, as well.”
“Okay. Thank you, Lucian. Thank you so much.”, she told him meaningfully, opening the door to leave.
“Anytime, I’m here for you. Take care,” Lucian responded, taking a quick drink of the cocoa.
(Who shall ship with Silver?)
(I'm up.)
(morning!)
(good morning guys :D)
(So when do we start?)
(Hello, I'm going to be dark for 2 hours. And then I'll be on and off.)
( Morning! )
(Hi!)
Leah nodded and pushed herself up. "I'm going to go check on the rest of the ship."
"You sure? You're still not really in the best condition, you know," Daso admonished gently, his usual smile already back in place.
Lucian eventually finished the drink, and made a mental reminder to give the cup to Joanna.
"It doesn't hurt that much. Plus, I'll only get in trouble in Lucian sees me." Leah said, winking at Daso.
