Fade laughs warmly. "Yea, its nice to eat you too!" He says not trying to be rude or anything just teasing her a bit. As the glass beads shine in the sun and reflect on her face, it catches Fade' s attention. "Woah….neat…" He says, mesmerized by all the colors on her face and unintentionally stares at her for longer then he should have.
(Who would be barry’s Roommate?)
(I'd love to if you dont have anyone else to room with you)
(Do you want them to have been roommates for the past few years, or to just have met?)
(They could be friends if you want, so yea they could have already been roommates)
Yay!)
Barry made his way over to the boys dorms, climbing the stairs up to the top floor and knocking on door 765 invade Fade was already inside. While he waited, his fingers found the crow tattoo on his collarbone.
(Is what I wrote okay?)
"Thanks and appreciation!" she replies as she slips the bead of her hair and hands it to Fade. "Part of my culture, one for each year til marriage. I have 17!" she showed his a few, all in hues of shiny purple, blue, yellow, orange, red, pink, and green. "You cannot keep, though." She said with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes.
(Oof, who shall I room with?)
Perhaps you can room with Sym and Beau? Maybe there is a 3 person dorm?//
(if no one else can room with Oliver, then yeah there can be a three person one)
(anymore available for Peony to room with?)
(Yea you're fine @"I Don’t Know Who I Am Anymore") Fade takes the bead and inspects it "It's really nice and pretty" he says smiling, then starts laughing when she says he can't keep it "Don't worry I won't take it" he hands it back to her and checks his phone for the time, then realizes he's late and Barry was going to kill him for leaving through the window instead of the door (a habit he's always had). "Shit! I forgot I locked the room and he doesn't have the key!" He quickly bows to Peony and does the same thing Aether did to him to Peony. He quickly jots his phone number down on a gym wrapper he had and gives it to her. "Here's my number, take it and call me sometime!" He says taking off towards the dorm. He climbs the side of the building and falls through the window into his room. He then quickly opens the door and smiles nervously. "Heeeey" he throws finger guns at Barry, he was clearly out of breath.
Barry stared at him for a full second and burst out laughing. “God, is it good to see you, Fade.” He pulled his roommate into a quick hug. “And don’t try convincing me you didn’t just crawl through the window.”
Peony stood, still and puzzled as he left. She looked at the bead and the piece of paper he'd put in her hand. He must've had to meet someone and was late. Sha'dar was nice, she enjoyed talking to him. "Fade!" she tried to call after him. "How can I give you a call?" But he was already gone. She looked down at the paper. What was she suppose to do with all these numbers?
Fade smiles "Nice to see you too bro" he gives into the hug, something he didn't like but since Barry knew him for a while now, he allowed it. He freezes when Barry mentions the whole window ordeal. "Haha….guess I can't fool ya anymore" he laughs.
Oliver goes back to his room, spotting a paper on the door, Savvas moved to room ___ it says, with a very familiar room number scrawled into the blank. He grabs his stuff out of the room before walking down to the room on the paper. He knocks lightly once before realizing why the room is so familiar, he was just there moments ago!
Barry chuckled, running a hand through his hair. “You’re too predictable.” Walking into the dorm, he took a deep breath. “Man, it feels good to be back.” He drifted over the the window, leaning out and looking down at the grounds below.
Fade closes the door after he enters and throws himself on the couch. "I suppose," He says glancing up at Barry as he looks out the window. He then proceeds to take his Gameboy out, shoves a game in it and starts playing. (Fade is a sucker for old technology)
“Still with the gameboy?” Barry grinned, pushing away from the window and collapsing on his bed. After a minute, he unzipped his bag and began to unpack. A compact lantern and flashlight he set on the bedside table, his clothes he put in the drawers. A stack of books went on the shelves above his bed, as well as his notebooks, writing supplies, old typewriter, and collection of inks and syringe-like objects for tattooing. Other than that, he hadn’t brought anything besides a thick battered sketchbook, his reading glasses, and a tarnished silver ring tied to a drawing black cord, which he fastened around his neck and tucked under his shirt, blinking away the tears that suddenly pricked his eyes.
Fade noticed the drop in Barry's emotions, something he was always able to do but never told Barry about because he didn't want to freak him out or make him feel comfortable, he keeps playing his game and without looking up he says "You okay there? How your morning been?" He tries to sound casual like he didn't know jack squat about anything.
Barry shrugged easily, the lie rolling off his tongue. “Yeah, it was good. A bit boring though.” Definitely didn’t get a knife pressed to my stomach by my legal guardian or anything., he thought to himself, tracing the shape of the crow tattoo again. “You?”
Fade, still not taking his eyes off of his game, responds with "Cool, I'm fine, I agree with the boring part" He says as if he were distracted, but clearly eyeing barry's movements. He then smirks, changing the subject "Hey have you seen some of the newer people around here? They're really nice, I think we'll have a good year this year"
Barry shook his head, taking his guitar out of its case (which I forgot to mention oops) and strumming a few chords. “I haven’t had the chance to talk to anyone except you and Magdalena. You’ve already started to woo the new kids with your flawless looks?”, he teased from across the room, testing out a melody before playing it quietly.
