Magdalena entered the looming gates that led to the grounds of Tetorra. Even though this was her third year going to the school, her stomach twisted in knots the closer she got to the entrance. She loved Tetorra with her whole heart, but the first year of school was always a hassle. Still, Magdalena was glad to be back. Hours of studying and reading in my dorm, here I come.
(Can Barry And Magdalena be friends?)
Barry stood by the entrance of the school, leaning against the wall and watching the flood of new students. Another year gone, another year beginning. Melancholy settled over him, knowing that this was his last year at the amazing school. It was more of a home to him than 53 Randolph Avenue would ever be. He sighed, trying to summon some excitement, and turned to enter the building.
(Absolutely)
Magdalena spotted Barry leaning against the wall by the school's front doors. She waved to him, glad that one of her only friends was here to keep her alive during the year. "Barry, it's good to see you again! How was your summer?"
(Yay)
“Hey, Mag. Good to see you too, I missed you.” He smiled widely for the first time that day, leaning forward to hug her warmly. “My summer was… meh. Just summer.”, he lied easily. “Yours?” It was a beautiful day, birds were singing all around them, and the school towered majestically above them. Barry felt a rush of something positive, but unidentifiable. The sun shone a little brighter up above, minorly influenced by his sudden change of emotion.
Magdalena shrugged casually, hugging him back. "It was certainly better than last year. My dad and I visited Lochpine Falls, where I nearly cracked my skull open on a rock." She chuckled lightly, stepping back from the hug. "So yeah, I guess it was pretty exciting."
“That’s great!” Barry grinned, shouldering his bag. “Glad your brains are still safely inside of your skull.” He glanced back at the school. “Nervous?”, he asked, scratching the nape of his neck.
"A little," She admitted. "But it's just first day jitters. It will prob just be the same as every other year. Nothing to worry about." Magdalena didn't know if she was trying to convince herself, or Barry. "What about you?"
“Nah, not really. Just a bit sad, it’s my last year.” He faked a smile. “Excited for classes to start up again?”
(How do dorms work?)
Oliver glances towards the slight crowds of people semi-nervously, who to make my next victim? he thought with a slight giggle. He looked around, scanning for people to make his new best friends. He picked a seat on a wall and continued to scan the area.
(There are dorm buildings on the sides of the school, boys to the left and girls to the right. There are two to a room.)
Magdalena grinned. "I'm always ready for classes to start back up again. Let's hope I don't start a fire again. I think I scarred the Magical Science teacher for life."
Barry laughed, tilting his face up to the warm sun. “That was priceless! I’ll help you do it again this year, just to see the look on his face again, dear lord.”
(Anyone want to be Barry’s dorm room buddy?)
"I think he's the only teacher that doesn't like me." Magdalena snickered. "Did you hear that there's a new teacher this year. Misses…Walpher I think was her name. She's teaching Dark Arts for fourth year students."
(I’ll be Barry’s dorm partnerrr!)
Oliver quickly grew bored of watching people and went up to his room, using his translucent wings to carry his things and travel faster. He definitely wasn’t nervous, not about class, or his dorm mate, or about everyone hating him. Of course not! Why on earth would he be? It’s not like he’s in this school later than everyone else, and everyone already has their friend groups. That’s soo not the case! He drops his stuff down in his dorm and lays on the bed, exhausted.
Fade walks through the gates, looking at the same school he had gone to for three years. Three years of my life, wasted he thinks as he sees a couple of people already showing up and making friends. But not him, no, he was never able to make friends with anyone since people saw him as "intimidating" and he didn't know why. Was it his bun? Or was it for obvious reasons like picking fights with people when they pissed him off? It was probably the latter. No matter, he had cut ties with his toxic friends and was ready for a fresh start.
Barry shook his head. “I had no idea. Think she’ll be any good?” He glanced around at the steady stream of new students, feeling as if a weight was being lifted off his chest.
Sym walked through the gates cheerfully, ready to start helping the first years with singing and such. He was ecstatic that the heads of the school would think his magic to be advanced enough to help the younger kids.
Aether skirted around the incoming students, careful not to bump into any other students. She was curious about this school and the people that went to it. Sheltered her whole life, Aether did not know much about privacy, since everything was open in her pack back home. She spotted a figure in the crowd (one might describe him as intimidating), and walked right up to him. "Hey there stranger. Want to be friends?" she said, blunt as ever.
Oliver started to unpack his bags, every once in a while looking over his shoulder at his dorm door, eagerly awaiting the chance to meet his first real roommate. The thought excited him and scared him at the same time.
Fade turned around to see who had been the one to talk to him, he looked at the girl and was taken aback by her bluntness. Already? Looks like things are looking up for me this year He nods and tries his friendliest smile "Yea, sure why not?"
Aether grinned widely, showing off her canines. "Yes! The name's Aether, by the way."
Peony left the headmaster's office with a smile on her face. She looked about with wide eyes and waved her father goodbye as he left. "Goodbye Ontáro! Ni mel tye!" She called after him. Smiling, she shook her arms out and strolled. She saw so many different people, males and females alike. "Suilads!!" She greeted those she passed, earning strange looks from few. She knew she'd have to learn their language, but it didn't mean she was going to be rude.
(Wait, don’t people have to be the same age to share a dorm room? Barry is eighteen)
