Ember hadnt noticed the girl silently sitting down, but when another person showed up, she stood up, trying to go farther back into the trees, but falling into a rose bush. Which with her luck, and just how clumsy she is, she got stabbed by a whole army of tiny swords. (aka thorns) Letting out a tiny yelp, she looks up to the sky letting out a deep sigh.
"you have GOT to be kidding me?!"
She says, still laying in the huge bush, thorns still cutting away at her arms as she sinks in deeper and deeper.
Her golden honey hair strewn across her face, her freckles splattered across her red cheeks, she was so done.
(Can my girl be like a new student?)
Nathan heard the noise, and gave the girl already sitting down a confused look before saying “I’m going to make sure no one’s hurt,” and wandering over to where Ember was. He held out a hand for her to help her up. “Are you okay?” he asked kindly.
She nodded, also a tad bit afraid for the girl that had fallen into the rose bush. She watched from afar, seeing that it was the girl from earlier. She closed her book, leaving it there and rushing over to help. "Is she okay?" she asked, hoping the thorns hadn't cut the girl too deep.
(yeah!)
Sitting up, she looked at the two, they were both so attractive…. so intimidating.
"im fine!"
She said, pushing herself out of the push the falling down on the ground. Then quickly getting up and patting herself of she looked t both of them. Not saying a word, just embarrassed.
Rae was utterly confused on where she was supposed to be right now. The halls were loud and it made her want to hide, but she didn't. A few people bumped into her and she apologized, even though it should have been them. Since she was new, and she left her house in a hurry, Rae carried all her books here due to forgetting her backpack. Too loud, too loud. Her head started to spin and so she moved fast towards the closest door to outside. Once there she took a breath and saw three people, one on the ground and the other two standing over her. Then she got up, looking a bit angry. "Is everything okay?" She smiled while waking over.
Nathan shrugged, looking at the two girls before turning back to the one who had fallen. “I have a band-aid if you need it,” he offered, unsure of what to do now. He looked at the girl with a mixture of compassion and confusion.
"Lemme look at your arms and legs, I need to see how deep the cuts are. I'm sure they have stuff in the office to clean you up" she muttered, brushing pieces of hair out of the girl's face. She felt the people gathering and it made her feel slightly suffocated but she returned her focus on the injuries the girl had.
Pulling away from them, she got up, blood dripping from a few of her cuts.
Brushing her own hair out of her face, she looked around, picking up her bag and glaring at them.
theyre both attractive
"thanks but no thanks"
She says in a kind of rude voice walking away, and falling once or twice on her way inside.
Gabriella was caught very off guard. She looked over at the other people there, her eyes wide and confused. "D-Did I do something?" she asked, looking up at the tallboys and the one shorter girl around her. "Her cuts seem really deep" she muttered, watching her leave with blood dripping down a few cuts on her arms.
“I don’t know,” Nathan said, looking totally lost. “Should we follow her? Would that be weird?” Nathan watched the girl walk off, and couldn’t help but notice that the girl speaking was really pretty. Not now. He already looked stupid. He flicked his attention back to the girl who was walking away.
(Actually Rae is taller than Gabriella, haha.)
Rae looked at them and just shrugged. She had no idea what they did wrong, but this was a good time to talk to them and make friends. "Hi, I'm Rae. It's my fist day." She smiled sweetly, holding out her hand while struggling to hold all her books with the other.
“Nathan,” he replied, shaking her hand. “Do you need help with those books?” He noticed she was rather pretty as well.
Her eyes not even watery, she walks confidently down the hall to the nurse's office. She liked the sweet old lady, so she let herself get treated every time she got hurt. Which was alot?
Walking in, the door creeping, smelling like a hospital, she walks in, he shiny shoes clacking on the ground, then THUD.
The lady without even looking, she smiled,
"Ember? Is that you again?"
She said with her soft fragile voice.
"yeah… um, could you help me… I fell in a rose bush."
She says looking at the blood dripping on her arm.
"oh, deary me, honey you've sure dont it this time."
She says although she says the same thing every single time she comes in.
"yeah… sorry bout this"
Ember says as she sits down on the bed as the lady looks at her arms.

(HAHA 😂)
"Would you mind?" For a moment she second guessed herself as soon as that left her mouth. Did that sound rude? "I mean only if you want to, or have time. No pressure." She smiled awkwardly. He seemed nice. Rae, all day every day, always had to remind herself that if a guy is nice it didn't mean he liked you. It was a problem she had, that really needed work.
"She seems like she would like to be left alone" she replied, smiling at the girl that was struggling to hold the books. She looked at her feet for a second before looking over at the door, seeing the injured girl was already gone inside. "I can help carry some books too" she suggested, pushing her hair out of her face with delicate fingers.
“Of course I have time,” Nathan said with a smile. He had this weird fluttery feeling in his stomach. It wasn’t that big of a deal; he ignored it. It seemed like any pretty girl made him lose it these days. He took some of the books from her arms carefully.
"Thank you. Both of you." Rae started to walk back inside, trying to mentally prepare herself for the noise. When the doors opened her anxiety came flooding back, although she pushed it to the side. Rae didn't want her new friends to see her bad side already. "Um, so I'm not sure which class I'm in."
“Do you have a schedule? I can help you out,” Nathan asked. “It’s a bit confusing at first, but you’ll catch on quickly. I can walk you there, if you want me to.”
She smiled at the feeling of a slight romantic tension building between the two. Now she recognized him. They used to sit together in elementary school. She grew up a ton over the summer, good for him she thought, her thinking purely genuine.
"I'm gonna go check on our rose thorn princess" she hummed, leaving the two to pick up her back and go inside to the office.
"Oh-oh okay. Uh, see you later!" She yelled waving to the girl. "Um, maybe I dropped it somewhere. I'm sorry, I'm so forgetful. Her hair fell into her face put she pushed it away quickly. I knew I should have put my hair up. "So, uh Nathan, what do you like to do." She wasn't trying to force anything, but Rae loved making friends and if she could make a friend on her first day of school that would be amazing.
