Al knew the locations of the men from their thoughts alone, as well as that they each carried MP5's with suppressors and NVD scopes.
"They can see us!" He said, sending a message of stabbing pain at them telepathically, withdrawing his mind-reading powers from them just before.
They were all stunned momentarily.
"D-Don't look at me!" Meun says frantically, trying to hide his hair with his arms. This didn't exactly help since the tattoos on his arms were glowing as well
Al morphed his hand into a demonic appendage. It was a strangely shaped, two-foot-long baseline limb from just below the elbow while said elbow had a 6-inch spur on it. He jumped in front of the guy with the ink, trying to shield him from the gunfire.
At the sound of gunfire, Meun began to panic. "I-I'm not going back!" he screeched, large tears beginning to stream from his eyes. As they did so his colors began to change, until he looked almost like a sunset or eclipse. He whipped around, his hands turning clawed as he cut a noticeable gash in a soldier's leg
Al probes the nearest soldier's mind, figuring out where he's going to aim, and blocks it with his new bladed arm. He advances, cutting the gun in two, and slashing the opponent with his elbow spur in the side while he passes.
As Meun is in the process of getting off the floor, a soldier kicks him sharply in the ribs. Growling, Meun gets to his feet nimbly before slashing the guard across the chest. Cloudy horns have begun to stream from his forehead, and his eyes are bright red against his darkening skin
The bug becomes a scorpian again, crawling onto Meun and sticking onto a glowing tattoo. He’s latched on there.
Meun doesn't seem to notice the bug as he begins to go on a rampage. He summoned his bladed staff, beginning to swing it around wildly at the soldiers
Al clambered for the others, in the midst of slashing the next soldier in the stomach. He grabs the guy with the tattoos, and the girl, and jumps in front of them. It wouldn't matter too much if they shot him a few times unless the shots were in his head or spine. Not likely. He anticipates their attacks mentally. Blocks or evades, and counters.
"Get out of my way!" Meun shouts, annoyed that Al had blocked him from attacking a few soldiers. He turned around, backing up against the other a bit before beginning to hack through the soldiers behind them
(Sorry, I'm finally back. Where should Baz be right now?)
"Yeah, yeah." Al says, his blade moving in intense, fluid arcs of motion. Long, black demonic tentacles leap from his jacket, subduing a soldier, who he renders unconscious telepathically. He continues to slice.
The scorpion stings Meun in the rampage.
(maybe in the middle of the fight?)
Meun yelped as he was stung. "W-What are you doing on me?" he asks as he begins to flail the arm the scorpion is attached to wildly
(Alright, I'll try to slip him in somehwere)
Baz watched with a confused looked registering on his face, stumbling around in the dark of the bar as he began to feel his way around the room. It didn't exactly help with the limp in his right leg. He ran into a few soldiers every few moments, though the small glow from a figure across the room seemed to light most of the way towards the exit. He continued down the room, using the small pocket knife in his jacket and teleporting himself a couple feet in each direction in an attempt to throw the soldiers off. So far, it seemed to be working.
Al spotted some of the soldiers focusing on a rapidly disappearing and reappearing figure. He continued to read minds, slash, block and evade, seeking cover behind an overturned table, only to pick it up and throw it with his new tentacles.
Meun eventually gave up trying to fling the scorpion off. He returned to fighting off the soldiers, his body casting an eerie glow around the room as he did so. He cut through several soldiers with his staff, knocking others out with his magic
Cressida summons glowing gold energy and tries to knock out the 'Shepherds'. She's panicking, so her glamour flickers in and out.
A soldier grabbed Baz's arm, though he had just fizzled in from a teleportation jump, leading to the other's fingers to slip right through his translucent skin. Taking this as an opportunity, he swung at the soldier with his other hand, connecting with their jaw. After backing away from the mob of people, he glanced behind himself, trying to pinpoint what the light source was coming from, but as he did, yet another soldier tackled him to the ground with a thud.
Cressida keeps fighting, but she's losing. The alcohol in her bloodstream is making her movements slow. Her glamour flickers once, then disappears entirely.
Scorpion just clings there, crawling around his arm. It’s mostly because he is glowing
Seeing someone fall to the ground, Meun makes his way over to them. He grabs the soldier on top of him, grabbing them by the back of the neck and pulling him backwards before slamming their head into the ground
"Thanks," Baz mumbled, an English accent evident in his voice as he pushed himself back up, trying to not put too much pressure on his right leg. He looked towards the faintly glowing figure, studying them for a few moments until he averted his gaze, realizing that he had been staring for too long.
Al changes stances, to a more versatile one. Reading these guy's minds, he's gotten a better vantage on their fighting style.
"These guys are trained tacticians, and the ones without guns are using boxing, along with something else I can't help with." He said, hacking through their rsnks. One strikes at him, and he uses his tentacles to Judo flip this one into another.
Meun glanced over at him to make sure he was okay before nodding. Noticing the small limp, he begins to try and hack at the soldiers around the new person since he figured the others had a hold of their situations
