Kain swished his coffee around with his finger as he made his way over to Vos and, seeing nowhere else perfect for him to sit, decided to sit on Vos. He nonchalantly positioned himself perpendicular to the recliner, his feet swinging over one arm and his back leaning against the other arm of the chair. He shifted himself in a sort of wriggle motion, getting comfortable before training his focus on the TV.

@_sleeby_rat_

"Excuse me, but what in the absolute hell do you think you're doing?" Vos just about snapped as he tensed noticeably when Kain laid on top of him. He had dealt with psychopaths before, and sure, they were eccentric characters. But Kain just seemed to be going back and forth between getting in his pants and using him for his own goals, something he didn't exactly appreciate

@RedTheLoveless

"I'm sitting in a seat worthy of me," Kain retorted before flicking Vos's forehead, "Now quiet down, please. Your loud noises make my head hurt." Kain sipped his coffee, slurping slightly as he relished the heat from the cocoa juices. He still sat splayed out across Vos and the chair.

@RedTheLoveless

(Now would probably be a good time to mention that Kain has kids and is married. An older boy and a younger girl. Idk how Vos might feel about that lmao)

@_sleeby_rat_

(well Vos will probably be a little ticked off that Kain would be wanting to cheat on someone with him, but he probably won't care since he has a dead "wife" and a son so ye. also IS KAIN THE TREE SCIENTIST)

Vos put up with that for all of two seconds before picking Kain up effortlessly and getting up out of the chair. Being careful not to make the other spill his coffee, he then turned and laid Kain back in the recliner. "Fine. Take my seat," he huffed before turning to go into the kitchen. He was too focused on getting himself some coffee to realize that Kain had been more interested in sitting on him than the recliner

@RedTheLoveless

(NO no no no it has not. But my normal chromebook died, and with it my response to this lmao. I'm using a loaner chromebook atm so I'll try to remember my response as best as I can)

@RedTheLoveless

Kain sat up and watched the demon king walk away with a rather confused expression. What did he do to piss Vos off that badly? I mean it was just a joke… Kain looked down at his new seat, fully knowing that the chair was not what he had meant as the perfect seat. He shrugged before getting out of the chair and sitting on the dirty ass ground instead.
"Fine, fine, I get it. I crossed a line. Sorry."

@_sleeby_rat_

(it's actually rather clean for the carpet of an apartment. Vos is a neat freak with a bit of OCD lol)

Vos gave a sigh, now leaning on the counter as he rubbed at his eyes with one hand. "I understand that humans are very…hands-on creatures. Just know that I am not, at least to a certain point. I do not appreciate unwarranted touch, and I appreciate the apology," he said before running a hand through his hair. He normally didn't mind too much about people touching him. Hell, he enjoyed combat. There was just something about Kain touching him that made him feel…odd

@RedTheLoveless

(pfft "odd" huh? lmao)

"Hmm… You're an odd one, Vos. Unique. Makes you better than the rest of this filth," Kain muttered before gesturing around at the TV and other buildings. "Disgraceful humans. If only my offspring were as perfect as I am, but sadly they cannot compare to me." He sighed as he drank deeply from his coffee. "Not even my darling daughter. Oh, what wasted potential she had!" He decided to rant to Vos instead of continuing on the topic of touch.

@_sleeby_rat_

(shh, Vos is still figuring himself out. also I finished my chai muffins and they're delicious)

Vos raised a brow when Kain began to ramble, especially when he mentioned his children. He had a child as well, a half-demon son named Kaz. He was still a boy, at least in Vos's eyes. Kaz was 24 now, and he had lost almost all resemblance to his father. He still believed his mother had something to do with that, but she was too far gone to question. Demon kings weren't exactly welcome in the various afterlives

@RedTheLoveless

Kain continued to ramble along about his family, oblivious to Vos's thoughtful concentration. He spread himself out across the floor. "I had so much hope for my son when he was born, but it became obvious as he grew older that he is simply not cut out to be a leader. He's currently pursuing a career in the medical field as a nurse. My daughter didn't take kindly to always being my second choice. It pushed her to become so much like me. Nearly perfect and following my footsteps in bioengineering…"

@_sleeby_rat_

"At least you have children that listen to you," Vos countered with a huff. "My son believes me responsible for his mother's death. He thinks I gave her the cancer that took her life, all because I had shown up to be there for her on her deathbed. And then when I tried to nudge him in the direction of grandeur, he goes and decides to be a superhero. A superhero! How in the world is a demon prince fit for serving humanity?" he scoffed

@RedTheLoveless

"Huh. Your son sounds like he needs a good talking to." Kain shook his head before turning to face Vos. "A superhero?" He asked incredulously. "How… why?! There's literally no gain from being a superhero," he frowned in confusion.

@_sleeby_rat_

"I feel he did it only to spite me," Vos huffed. "I even altered his mind when he was young in the hopes of turning him more towards his proper place. But of course, the stubborn bastard went and forced the alteration into becoming a secondary personality he could manage. But hell to him, he's supposedly dead anyways."

@RedTheLoveless

"To hell with our sons then," Kain muttered before raising his coffee mug in a toast-like fashion before downing the rest of the cup. Once his cup was empty, he got up and sauntered over to the kitchen sink and rinsed his cup out. He was unsure if Vos wanted him to hand wash his cup or to put it in a dishwasher. He looked to Vos for an answer.

@_sleeby_rat_

"Put it in the dishwasher," Vos said, realizing that Kain was questioning what to do with his mug. He took a sip of his own coffee, only about halfway through with his. His gaze lingered on Kain for a moment before he looked away to focus more on his coffee and less on the strange feeling that kept bubbling up in his chest when he looked at the other man

@RedTheLoveless

(Lmao wait where is that post where this guy is asking if homosexuality is contagious cuz he gets this weird feeling and a boner whenever his gay roommate takes his shirt off? That post is Vos.)

"Good," Kain stated before swiftly following Vos's instruction of putting his cup in the dishwasher. He bent over to place his cup with the rest of the cups and then had to bend further down to reach the dishwasher door and close it. He stood up slowly and groaned before holding his back with his hand.

@_sleeby_rat_

(lmao it is, at least at this point in time. he wasn't the most in touch with his gay side at this point. side note I'm altering how pacts work for Vos just so that I can get Kain to go all freaky on Vos lmao)

Vos followed Kain's movements over the rim of his mug, and without his wanting it, his eyes traveled and continued to follow his ass. He was glad that Kain had his back to him, because he was trying very, very hard not to comment about just how nice Kain's ass looked

@RedTheLoveless

(Freaky as in bedroom freaky or freaky as in insane Kain?) (I mean both are good for him lmao)

Kain stretched his arms up in the air and then returned his arms back to his side. He turned to face Vos but not necessarily looking at the man as he sauntered over to him. "So… about that whole business thing…" Kain trailed off as he eyed what half of Vos he could see from over the counter.
