Vos gave him a very unamused look when Kain went off on a tangent again. "You're talking to a demon king, you dolt," he said before taking his glass back from Kain and finishing the rest of the glass in one go. He gestured to the bartender, who quickly refilled it
"Oh right. Yeah that makes sense. Sure that'd be rather nice of you." Kain added before hanging his arm over the side of the bar at the barista.
"Another Pink Fairy Delight, if you please." The barista rolled his eyes before going off to make another of those heavily alcoholic drinks.
"So what does this demon king have to offer me?" Kain questioned, trying to keep his mind on track.
"Well if you could find yourself sober enough to remember what I say, then I might tell you," Vos huffed before tipping back his glass. He would probably need something stronger to deal with Kain, especially if he was going to be like this while intoxicated

"Tomorrow morning then," Kain decided as his second glass of that annoying pink vodka arrived, which he quickly began to drink. He only got the glass down to half when he stopped to take a breath.
"My oh my that's quite strong. Would you like some?" He offered, half-heartedly pushing his drink towards Vos before his hand slipped out from under his head and he fell face-first against the count.
"Hmm what a lovely table," he commented, trying to cover up how drunk he was actually getting.

Vos's eyes widened when Kain hit the table. "My god, you're a lightweight if I've ever seen one," he said before slowly taking the drink from Kain's hands. He eyed the offendingly pink liquid for a moment, seemingly suspicious of just how pink it was. Though out of curiosity he ended up taking a small sip
(Kain has to have a downside somewhere. and that somewhere just happens to be a lightweight for alcohol lol)
"Bring back the pretty colors…" Kain whined when Vos moved his drink away from him. He attempted to sit upright but was still obviously slouching as he reached for his drink across Vos. He actually ended up laying himself across the demon instead of his intended purpose.
"You're really soft," Kain mumbled against Vos as he flailed about to try and get up again.

Vos made an indignant noise when Kain laid across him. "I apologize, but I'm going to have to confiscate your…pink drink from you. You are already drunk and haven't even made it through a bottle of this," he said before chugging the remainder of Kain's glass to prevent him from drinking any more. He was feeling a bit fuzzy now, but he had a far higher alcohol tolerance than the average human
"Aww… I guess I'll have to get a different drink out of you then…" Kain giggled, hiccuping slightly as he was able to manage a wink up at Vos as he slid lower down on the demon.

Vos stiffened, and he looked genuinely mortified when Kain slid lower. "I have never been this…this…this disrespected, even by a drunkard," he spluttered before trying to shove Kain's face away from him. He didn't try too hard though, as he was all but trembling from trying to contain mixed laughter and mortification

"It's not disrespectful when you're taking to bed the most powerful human in the world," Kain retorted lightly as he swayed in his sitting-up stance.
"Oh come on Vos. You know you wanna…" Kain trailed off before bursting into a fit of giggles again.
"I am not entirely sure I want to take to bed a drunk psychopath who apparently does not have even the capacity of mind to realize he is leaning on the most powerful demon king since Charlemagne," Vos huffed before pushing Kain back and upright with one hand
"It'll be fuuuunnn~" Kain purred, his head not quite following the movements of his own body as he was close to blacking out. He saw himself fall backwards out of his seat and onto the floor, though he felt nothing.
"Alright, no more alcohol for you. I do not want to deal with a business partner turned bumbling fool," Vos huffed, despite the way his cheeks began to flush ever so faintly. "Is there not a way to sober humans up? Coffee? Water? Something?"
"Time and a good fuck," Kain chuckled as he looked up at Vos, attempting his best intimidation of 'bedroom eyes'. He reached his arms up at Vos, asking like a child wanting to be picked up and carried. He made some grabbing motions in the air to emphasize this effect.
"I am not fucking you," Vos said matter-of-factly. He glowered at Kain for a moment before indulging him and picking him up. "At least you were attractive when you were in your right mind. Now you just sound like a psychopathic fool," he mumbled to himself
"Why thank you," Kain giggled, not quite grasping what was happening or what Vos was saying. He barely managed to wrap his arms around Vos without smacking the demon in his face.
"Onward noble steed," Kain mumbled as he felt his eyes fade in and out of darkness.
Vos grumbled something in a strange language before standing up. Stone-faced and annoyed, he picked Kain up by his middle and began to walk him out of the bar, the shorter man held beneath one arm as he walked
"Weeee…." Kain cheered as he was being carried along by Vos. His head would fall down but then snap back up as he tried to fight off the darkness but it was just too comforting to him. He let himself go limp in Vos's arms as he finally passed out.
As soon as they were a decent distance away from the bar, Vos teleported them to his apartment. Since Kain was unconscious, he couldn't think of anywhere else he could take him. Eventually, an odd thought crossed his mind as he laid Kain down on the bed. Why was he even bothering with this human? He guessed it was a side effect of his efforts to beat his curse
Kain mumbled something as he felt something soft underneath his body and he turned on his side, still not opening his eyes. He stretched his arms forward, searching for something to grab before he stopped moving again. His flowercrown was barely on his head at this point and his hair was a graceful mess against the blankets.

Vos sighed before walking over to him and plucking the flower crown off his head. He set it safely on the nightstand before pulling the desk chair out and sitting down in it. He felt like he had dressed up for nothing. Kain was too drunk to even notice how nice he had looked. So much for making a good impression
