Jay ended up sleeping through all of school, hidden in the back of the library. He was curled up in a ball, head resting on his backpack.
Jay ended up sleeping through all of school, hidden in the back of the library. He was curled up in a ball, head resting on his backpack.
Finn walked back into the library. He walked to the back where they met up last time and looked around. He spotted him sleeping and walked over.
Jay shifted a little bit, some of his hair falling into his face. He had slept deep enough that the bells hadn't even woken him up.
Finn crouched next to him moving the hair from his face causing both their marks to glow brightly. He lightly tapped him.
He flinched a little, eyes flickering open sleepily. He looked up at Finn. "Oh. Is school over already?" he asked, sitting up and blinking tiredly.
“Yep,” He said softly. “Have you thought of my offer?” He asked. Cal obviously needed to rest. He could make sure he did if he came over his house but who knows what would happen if he went home.
Jay rubbed his uninjured eye with a hand, careful not to brush his fingers against the dark bruises. "Yeah…" he trailed off, looking up at Finn and biting his lip. "Are you sure you'll let me?" he asked quietly.
He nodded. “Of course! Like I said my aunts on a business trip and I have a guest room,” Finn explains. “As long as you don’t mind cats and a sometimes crying kid then we’re set!”
His mouth flickered into a tiny smile. "Then…if you're sure…" he nodded a little, looking up at Finn a little anxiously. "I-I would like to…"
Finn nodded standing up. “Nice. Would you like to leave now?” He asked speaking softly
Jay nodded a little. "Sure." he got up, putting his backpack on.
Finn gestured for Cal to follow. As he walked off.
Jay followed him, still limping a little bit.
Finn walked to his car getting into the drivers seat.
Jay got in the passenger seat, setting his bag by his feet and getting buckled. "Thank you." he said quietly, looking over at Finn.
“It’s no problem man,” Finn said throwing his own bag in the back of the car. The car looked new and clean. The only mess was maybe a few toys littered around the car seat it the back.
Jay hesitated for a moment, then let out his breath in a sigh. Stop wondering if this is because he cares. He doesn't. He's just being kind. There is nothing happening between you two, and there never will be.
Finn smiled as he drove. After only a few minute drive they pulled up in front of his house. It was large house surrounded by other large houses.
Jay raised his eyebrows a little. "You have a nice house." he said softly. He himself lived in a much smaller neighborhood, where the houses were crowded close together and barely had room for the families that lived inside.
Finn nodded “thank you,” he said but he didn’t look happy when he looked over at the house. Everything about it appeared perfect.
Jay bit his lip. Did I say the wrong thing? He swallowed, and followed Finn inside.
(they should totally end up having to share a bed for whatever reason and keep waking up spooning/cuddling)
(I have the perfect idea for that pretend he never went to the door)
Instead of going up to door Finn led Cal to the back of the house. There was a large pool and then a guest house that he walked to. It was still large having three small rooms and a open living room and kitchen.
(ookay lol. I think i gtg to bed soon, idk)
Jay followed him quietly, looking around. His blue eyes took in the house, pool, and guest house carefully.
(Ok)
He walked into the guests house taking his shoes off near the door. True inside was like his car clean but lived in. Nothing like the main house which he was barely allowed in. The heard voices and got really confused.
Jay carefully took off his shoes, looking around. He looked over at Finn curiously.
