Jay glanced around. "I…where do I change?" He asked softly.
Jay glanced around. "I…where do I change?" He asked softly.
“The bathroom or my rooms fine,” He said still smiling.
Jay nodded, and went to Finn's room, closing the door. He came back after a few minutes in his own clothes again.
Finn smiled at him. “Ok I’m going to hop in the shower feel free to do whatever,” He said going to his room to get some clothes.
Jay nodded. "Alright." he replied, sitting down on the couch again.
Finn took a quick shower and came out in a t-shirt and jeans. He walked into the living room. “So do you want to do something today? I was thinking of going to the mall since I need to get some stuff.”
Jay looked up. "I uhm…sure." he replied, standing. The mark on his cheek was shimmering faintly from Finn's proximity.
Finn bit his lip remembering the marks. He wasn’t wearing gloves so his hand was glowing as well. “I umm I think I found out what to do about out marks,” he said. He loved seeing Jay’s mark shine bright along with his own but he knew that they couldn’t walk around with them.
Jay raised an eyebrow a little. "What?" he asked, biting his lip a little. I should have known. I forgot about it.
“I found a cream. I haven’t been able to test it out since I just bought it at yesterday but I read that it makes the glowing stop,” he explained walking into the bathroom.
"Oh. Alright." Jay replied slowly, chewing on his lip again.
He came back with a small container of cream. Opening it and spreading a small amount onto his own glowing hand.
Jay watched him carefully, biting his lower lip still.
The glow on his hand died down. Going back to its original dull state. He offered some of the cream to Jay.
Jay hesitated, then took it, putting it on his cheek. The glow died down.
Finn bit his lip. He hated seeing the glow die out. He took the cream back and slipped it into his pocket.
Jay looked away, biting his own lip a little. "Now what?"
“Do you want to go to the mall?” He asked. He grabbed his wallet and keys.
"Sure." Jay replied, following him.
Finn walked four of the house and too his car. Getting into the drivers seat.
Jay got in the front passenger seat, and buckled himself in. He had the hood of his hoodie pulled up over his head again.
Finn glances at him but then his eyes where back in the road. He drove off in the direction of the mall.
Jay bit his lip a little. There was still a split in it, and while the bruise on his eye had faded a bit, the white of it was still red.
Finn resisted looking over at him as he drove. He parked close to the mall entrance.
Jay was quiet as they drove, looking out the window. He didn't know what to say. What he should say, if anything.
