Jay shrugged, still leaning his head on Finn's shoulder. "There's nothing you can do."
Jay shrugged, still leaning his head on Finn's shoulder. "There's nothing you can do."
“I don’t believe that,” He said. “I’m going to help you Jay.” The teacher started talking in front of the class.
Jay sat up to take notes, wincing a little at the movement. "I don't think there's anything you can do…"
“I’ll figure it out,” he said looking at the teacher. He started taking notes.
He nodded, still taking notes. "Your…your aunt…" He said slowly, carefully. "Is she… how mad is she?" He finally asked, biting his lip.
“Pretty mad. I couldn’t see poppy last night or this morning,” he admitted looking down. “I hate that she’s using her as a punishment. She postponed her flight for tomorrow night.”
He closed his eyes. "I'm sorry." He said softly. "I…I didn't mean to cause this."
“It’s fine. You’ve obviously gotten worse. Plus it’s not your fault she’s a bitch,” he mumbled. “Is your dad…really mad? At you being gone?”
He nodded a little bit, swallowing, eyes flickering shut for a moment. "He was furious when I got home." he whispered.
Finn nodded. “Anything broken or I need to look at?” He asked biting his lip.
He hesitated, then shook his head. "Just bruises." he replied softly.
“You sure? I brought more supplies,” he pushed slightly.
"I'm okay." he replied, taking a deep breath.
Finn nodded not fully convinced. “Ok let me know if that changes,” he said going back to his notes.
He nodded, and kissed Finn's cheek. "I will."
Finn smiled and turned his head giving him a peck on the lips before taking extensive notes.
Jay smiled slightly, then went back to taking notes.
Finn continued writing. He tried to keep a smile as he did.
Jay kept taking his notes, chewing on his lip a little bit.
The teacher stopped talking and handing out a worksheet to do with the person next to you.
Jay glanced over at Finn with a faint smile.
Finn smiled back and kissed his cheek. “Come on i got to get this done,” he said. His grades had to be even better than usual with his aunt paying closer attention now.
Jay nodded a little bit. "Alright, alright." he replied softly.
Finn started working on the sheet. He asked for Jay’s help or confirmation of an answer once in awhile.
Jay helped Finn out with a faint smile on his face.
