He nodded. "Alright. Thank you." He wrapped his arms around Finn.
He nodded. "Alright. Thank you." He wrapped his arms around Finn.
Finn smiled and hugged him back. “Come on let’s get going.”
He kissed Finn's cheek. "Fine."
Finn took his hand. “We can sneak some cookies from the kitchen before everyone arrives,” he whispered walking out of the room.
He grinned. "Alright."
Finn walked out of the house. He let go of his hand.
He sighed softly, staying near Finn.
Finn walked into the house by the back door. There were caterers walking in and out of the kitchen. Finn couldn’t see any dessert.
Jay was quiet, sticking with Finn.
Finn stayed right next to him and walked into the dining/living room. His aunt was in there talking with two other people who seemed to be guests.
Jay pasted on a slight smile, running his fingers through his hair.
Finn tried to walk past the group but his aunt saw them. “Finn over here. You remember Richard and Dr Pears,” she said gesturing to the two men she was talking to. Finn walked over.
Jay hesitated for a moment, then just hung to the side, knowing he probably shouldn't follow Finn.
“I remember it’s nice to see you both again,” he said before gesturing for Jay to walk over. “Tho sh my friend Jay. Auntee you met him before.”
Jay gave a faint smile, unsure if he should wave or offer a handshake. He bit his lip a little bit. "Hi."
Finn wanted to grab his hand and stand closer but he resisted. "Nice to meet you Jay. I'm Richard. Are you another one of Finn's football friends?" He asked stretching his hand out to shake.
Jay let out a faint laugh. "No, I…don't play football. I'm not quite big enough." He gestured vaguely at his thin, short frame. He shook Richard's hand.
“Ah makes sense,” Richard said smiling and shaking his hand. Finn shifted slightly.
“Do you want a drink?” He asked Jay while also trying to seem like he was addressing the group.
Jay smiled a little as well, dropping his hand after a moment. "Ah…no thank you." he said.
The rest of the group said they where fine except for his aunt who asked him to get her a glass of wine “Ok I’m going to get drinks. Be right back,” he said smiling at him.
Jay returned the smile, running a hand through his hair anxiously.
Finn reluctantly walked to the kitchen. “So how do you know Finn?” Richard asked while Finns aunt and the doctor continued the conversation they where having before. It was still clear that his aunt was still listening though.
Jay bit his lip a little bit. "Oh. Uhm, we're in a few classes together, and we have the same lunch period." he replied, sort of ducking the specifics.
Richard nodded. “That’s good,” he said. Finn came back quickly holding a glass of wine and another of Soda. He stood next to Jay and handed his aunt the glass. “Let’s go to the living room until dinner,” he said motioning to the couch.
Jay nodded a little bit. "Ah. Alright." he replied with a quick smile, following Finn.
