(indeed. nostalgia is one hell of a kicker)

(I mean I have nothing to be nostalgic about since we've used almost all my old papers and things as firestarter so…)

(lol my parents made a save box for all my kindergarten-3rd stuff for the sole purpose to embarrass me later in my life)

(I have almost no record of my existence from year 4 to year 11 or 12)

(lol that sounds like a main character backstory the way you worded it)

(like it's weird, I never thought to keep any of my school projects or take pictures of myself, not that I could very much because it was the early 2000's)

(don't be sorry? it's not like I cared at the time lol)

(lol yeah i guess but still like, sometimes I look at my baby pictures and it's like "That was mini-me, helpless and messy. Yet here I am" and it gets weird)

(ugh there are like 2 baby pictures of me in existence and I was weird. babies are weird I'm sorry)

(but old stuff is the best and worst at the same time lol. I found a worksheet from fifth grade when I had that bitchy teacher and I have proof that she did everything she could to make me fail. She marked me down for writing my name too large for fucks sake)

(babies are great but also satanic)

(why. just why. I mean I had two teachers in elementary that totally ignored all my health problems and I ended up getting a lot of infections and stuff because of it, but names?? really??)

(yep. There was so much more in that one packet too lol)

(yeah no sucky elementary teachers were the worst)

(I still remember the time that she made fun of my history test score in front of the class for ten whole minutes)

(oh god, that reminds me of when I was in like 7th grade and the art teacher was subbing for band. me, being the dorky child I was, raised my flute above my head when she said "put your instruments up" and had to sit through a 10 minute lecture)

(dude that sounds hilarious but also scary)

(I was very photogenic as a child but somewhere along the line I turned shy so we have a ton of pictures from when I was very small and then like literally nothing past the age of eight)

(I am not photogenic, my resting nope face makes sure of that lol)

(lol somehow I managed to get used to my voice over recordings and stuff but my face and body is just a huge 'nope' for me. it's weird because I try my best to love my image irl and I've been getting better about it but as soon as it's in a picture or caught on tape my self-love goes right out the window)

(ugh god almost all pictures of me pre 8th grade are just…ugh I looked horrible lol)

(to be fair i think all kids went through that phase at some point lol)

(it wasn't a phase, it was 80% of my existence)
