"I was saving that for you-what the hell?" Peggy frowned, stepping closer to the edge as she watched Klaus get slammed into a building.
"I was saving that for you-what the hell?" Peggy frowned, stepping closer to the edge as she watched Klaus get slammed into a building.
Adrielle shrugged. "Who knows."
Then, after a couple of moments, every floor above the one they had crashed into collapsed, sending dust and rubble flying into the air.
"Shit." Peggy's suit was already building itself again. "There might be civilians in there. Marco works there." And then she was jumping.
Adrielle sighed. "Aaaaand they're all gone."
Then, after a few more moments, the grey figure was launched into the side of another building from the rubble as she could see Klaus climb out. And he looked mad.
"You're welcome to come with." Peggy said as she rose up over the edge, before kicking off with a burst of light. Today was full of issues, apparently.
Klaus took a running start, and leaped after the person, the symbiote's tongue flailing wildly in full Venom fashion.
"Oooo, you're gonna get it now!" he shouted.
Adrielle rolled her eyes. "Fine." She jumped off the roof.
While Peggy would have loved to get in the middle of that fight, she swooped down to catch a large chunk of rubble before it fell on someone.
Adrielle started to fly towards the fight.
She could hear the sound of blows being traded from the newest battlefield before Klaus's limp body was sent crashing to the ground so quick he could't even launch a web.
Adrielle flew towards the fight. "Hey!" She yelled. "Nobody fights annoying guys except for me!"
Peggy shot towards where Klaus had hit, scanning the ground through her helmet. She vaguely registered shouting, was that Adrielle? But her focus was on Klaus.
The figure took off at blinding speed at the sight of the two new arrivals, gone from sight in not even a second. Klaus laid on his back in the middle of a small crater, the mask pulled away from his face which was twisted in pain.
"Owwwww."
Adrielle groaned. "I am going to kill that person!" She sped after it.
Peggy swore, landing in a crouch next him as her helmet pulled away. "Jesus fuck, dude, who was that?"
Suddenly, a portal opens up in front of it and, boom, it was gone, the portal closing just before she could get there.
"Don't know," he groaned. "It had no fucking face."
There was a small trail of blood that traced its way down his chin, staining two of his bottom teeth when he spoke.
Peggy sighed, holding out an armored hand to help him up. "Maybe footage from a neighboring building caught something we can use."
Adrielle chased after the guy for a while before stopping. She was bored. Her plan had failed, and she had no idea what to do now.
He groaned, putting a hand on his side as he accepted the help.
"Fucker broke my rib," he admitted, hunched over with his hands around his waist.
"Headquarters or the tower." Peggy asked, thinking of places she could find some help. "Broken ribs aren's something to fuck with."
"Don't really care," he mumbled, shutting his eyes tight. "I just need help."
"Tower it is." Dad's more likely to be there, too. Peggy thought for a moment before scooping him up carefully and taking to the air. "Hold on."
