He followed along with her, rolling his neck and wincing slightly. "Maybe I'll get on the news now."

Adrielle glared at him, eyes flashing. She calmly pushed the knife away and stood up. "Pleasant as this has been, I have to go." She had recognized the man: it was an agent. She turned back to him, almost as an afterthought. "Also, goodbye," she said, shooting him with a burst of energy. The guy collapsed, dead, and she walked away.

Peggy hummed thoughtfully. "The media likes famous people. Take a selfie with me, and you'll be up there in no time."

"But then I'll just be piggy-backing," he whined. "I wanna do something that'll make people know me for me."

"It'll bring to light your past accomplishments, and people'll notice when you do other things." Peggy said matter-of-factly.

Putting her earbuds back in, Adrielle hummed to the music, ignoring stares. She was happy, or at least as happy as she could ever be. She didn't pay attention to the whispers or the stares or the people taking pictures of her on their phones. She was already famous.

"No, they'll talk about how Peggy just took a selfie with the son of batshit Cletus Kassidy," He sighed. "That's all anyone notices."

"Aw, you know who I am." Peggy cooed, reaching over to pinch his cheek. "You'll never know if you don't try. Or, there is another option."

"What is this 'other option?'" he asked, leaning away from the hand slightly as they walked.

"You get a save while with me." Peggy said, crossing her arms over her chest. She had become a pro at manipulating the press, and this was no different.

He thought about it for a moment, then shrugged. "Seems fair enough. But who do we save, exactly? Seems calm at the moment."

((We gotta make 'em run into each other again. Or something big happens))

"In this city? Something'll happen." Peggy seemed fairly sure of that, reaching up the fiddle with her dogtags. "You just gotta keep an eye out."

Or ears out, as a HUGE explosion sent them both sprawling to the their backs. There was the sound of a boyish laugh as a blur raced past them, leaving a trail of smoke.
"I'm Rocket Man, and I'm here to kill you, Peggy!" Dude just sounded like a creep.

Klaus was already in battle mode, on his feet in the blink of an eye and releasing a guttorial snarl.

Adrielle was bored. She sat on a rooftop by the governor's manor, dangling her legs. He would be out soon, she realized, checking her watch. He came out, and she dropped silently down before knocking out his bodyguards. She grabbed him by the collar. "One move," she hissed into his ear, "and you're dead."
She yanked him onto the roof and pulled put her phone, starting to film. She hacked into the screens on the street so that everyone would see her.

Peggy rolled to her feet almost as soon as she hit the ground, looking unconcerned as she looked down at her nails. "Dude, you fucked up my manicure." She said, as though that was the most important thing they had to worry about.

Everyone, including 'Rocket Man,' stopped and stared at the screens, except for Klaus. He was looking over at Peggy with his eyebrows raised. "Is this worthy of your suit, Ms. Stark?" he asked.

Peggy sighed, as though all of this was a huge chore. "I suppose." With a roll of her eyes, the suit began putting itself together as she pulled her hair up and out of the way.

"Hello, everyone," Adrielle said, walking over to the edge of the roof. "I have, right here with me, the governor of the city. I'm bored. So if no one comes to save him in…" she checked her watch, "two minutes, I'll just have to through him off this ten story building." With that, she stopped and smirked, eyeing the trembling man.

The mask of the symbiote formed over his face, giving her a wicked grin with it's razor sharp teeth. Then, with florish, he stuck and arm out and shot a web from his wrist, yanking himself into the air. He was nowhere close to being as graceful in that department as his foreefathers before him, but he was just as fast.

"I'm so asking for her number after this." Peggy said, voice altered a bit by the suit. It was't necessary, considering she had been out since she first took on the suit, but hey, it sounded cool. She took off after Klaus, blue light trailing from her boots.

Adrielle's feet dangled off the edge of the roof. She glanced at her watch. "One minute left."

Klaus said nothing, all business and nothing else at the moment. It took a lot of concentration for him to not fall 20 stories to his death.

"Need a ride?" Peggy called, shooting past him with a whoop. Trouble or not, flying never really got old.
