@PrettyLittlePyro
She made a face.
She made a face.
He laughed a said face. "What? That's how the saying goes."
Adrielle rolled her eyes. "Because those sayings make sense," she said sarcastically.
"Don't have to make sense, it just gives me an excuse to leave," he said, walking towards the edge of the building.
Adrielle gave a fake pout. "Aw. But we were going to have so much fun!"
"Not so fast, pretty boy." Peggy called, holding up a finger.
"See? She agrees!"
He stopped and turned around. "Hm?"
"I just want your number." Peggy said, slipping what looked like a business card from her pocket and holding it up. "In case something happens. How else are you gonna get yourself noticed?"
"Gotta pen?" he asked, still not walking back from the edge.
"I've got everything." She slipped an oddly tiny pen out, stepping over to him herself.
"He's trying to get himself noticed?"
He used his own hand as a bear-on, writing out 7 sloppily drawn digits. "Here," he said, holding it between two fingers and holding it out to her.
Peggy plucked the card from his hand, replacing it with her own. "Everyone wants to be noticed."
Adrielle shrugged. "Not me. I just want to not be confused with my fucking 'mother.'" She made a face.
"i mean, you all know my dad, why not know me?" He pocketed the card.
"Different strokes." Peggy pointed at Adrielle with a smirk. "But it all ties to the same thing."
"Am I allowed to go now?" he asked.
Adrielle raised an eyebrow. "You people are strange."
"Fine, yes, if you really want to so bad." Peggy rolled her eyes, waving a hand dismissively. "I've got a Rocket Boy to deal with."
He snorted. "Rocket Boy. How uncreative."
With that, he stepped off of the building and slinged a web, yanking himself away from the two.
Adrielle waved mockingly. "Nice meeting you!"
"I like him." Peggy stated with a grin, watching him swing away.
Adrielle grinned. "You should ask him out, then."
And he continued to swing….until he was struck by a fast moving object that sent him through the window of an office building. A flying figure could be seen for half a second before speeding into the building after him.
