"Okaay," Lillian couldn't tell if his stance was normal or by choice. She scanned him for a moment trying to see if she could spot anything glaringly obvious while getting into a stance of her own trying to see if by doing it herself she could figure out what was different. And she also didn't know what to do from there.
Darren smiled and raised his sword as if he was going to attack her, "In a fight you aren't going to have time to stand around and stare, you have to analyze while you fight. If you find a weak point, use it to your advantage. Strike it or something," One good hit to the knee would be enough to cause him to stumble.
(For Jacks)
Ryan woke up in a sweat on the living room floor. His eyes opened but he couldn't move. He tried to speak but he found himself unable to do that just the same. He worked on his breathing as not to panic and scanned the room for Belle. Where is she?
Belle came out of the kitchen, holding her children in her arms as they fed. "Ryan? Sugar, are you okay?" There wasn't much she could do with two kids attached to her body but she could at least let him know she was there.
Sometimes after transformation, control over the body wasn't an option as it switch hands from Convel to Ryan. It would take a moment for either of them to regain control. Ryan put all his effort into blinking to show her he was okay. He never took his eyes off of her. If he was to be stuck here, at least he had a great view.
(Implications are magical)
.
Her cheeks turned pink as she looked away from him. "Stop staring like that. It's like you're trying to burn holes through my chest."
(Aren't they)
Ryan managed a smile and a twitch in his finger. He was regaining control quickly this time. He cleared his throat and tried to speak but it just came out a slow whine like a caged dog. He wasn't there yet.
"Take your time, don't hurt yourself." She focused back on her children, sighing contently when they finished and brought them back to the kitchen to set them down and clean everything up before bringing them back out and sitting next to Ryan. She laid Delilah on his chest and took Matthew for herself. "There. Daddy's little princess can help him out of this."
"I feel fine," his voice was raspy, he really had to force it out. He was able to lift his arms and enough to hold his daughter.
Belle ran her fingers through Ryan's hair. "Shh, don't push yourself. We've got time." She kissed his forehead gently, trying not to let her worry show.
"Don't pretend like this doesn't bother you," he nearly scolded. "I know you better than that. I can see through it,"
"Ryan, of course it bothers me. But what are we supposed to do about it? There's no point in worrying about something I can't do anything about."
"And what about you? You don't feel like somethings off? You're no moral. What are you keeping from me that I should be worried about?" Ryan's voice became clearer with every word.
"You know I feel like something's off. Ryan, we're parents now. Of course I'm going to be worried since there's so much more at stake. I'm scared for Matt and Delilah."
"You're deflecting," Ryan said a little more quietly. He didn't want to fight but he grasped the reality of the situation, "We have a common goal, protect the kids. I don't want what I don't know to hurt them is all I'm saying too. We're both worried,"
Darren smiled and raised his sword as if he was going to attack her, "In a fight you aren't going to have time to stand around and stare, you have to analyze while you fight. If you find a weak point, use it to your advantage. Strike it or something," One good hit to the knee would be enough to cause him to stumble.
Lillian gave a quick nod before going to strike towards the back. If he was going to let his leg hang so far back, there had to be a reason for it right?

"Well the only thing we can really do is wait and see what happens. It's not like we know what's going on nor can we go to someone and find out so what are we supposed to do?"

Darren tripped over himself, wincing slightly. "You're a quick learner, I've always loved that,"
"Well the only thing we can really do is wait and see what happens. It's not like we know what's going on nor can we go to someone and find out so what are we supposed to do?"
"You're still deflecting," Ryan pushed himself to his feet, wavering slightly. His legs were weak but he couldn't grab for support. He was too focused on holding his daughter.
(SSSSSPPPPPPPPAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTAAAAAAAAAA)
"I don't know what you're talking about." Belle reached out to steady him, keeping Matthew securely in her grip.
"Let's hope you don't," Ryan was on edge and Convel's aggression still ran through his veins.
"Are you doing okay? You seem…tense." Belle got to her feet, rubbing Ryan's shoulder slowly.
