“So bet the car?”
“Yeah,” Darren agreed. “Bet the car. You don’t have a chance in hell. I’ve seen what’s under your hood.”
Lillian sighed and rested her head in her hands shaking it slightly. She was dating an idiot. She looked over at him, “Are you sure babe?”
“I don’t lose,” Darren rolled his window up and pulled the computer in.
“I dunno. What now? I think we or at least, I should spend some time trying to figure out who the kanima is and who controls it,”
"Yeah that'd be the smart thing to do."
“And we’re making smart decisions,”
Lillian gave him a smile, "Of course you don't, but do you really need his car?"
“His car? Yeah I’ll take the parts. That’s how I built my car. Taking other people’s im these races and building it. I get money or I sold my old car for anything extra,”
"That makes sense. Your car is probably nothing like the original you bought in the first place."
“Nope. Not really. On the outside it was but she got gutted and rebuilt on the inside.”
"Which is probably a good thing."
“Definitely,” he agreed as the computer pulled a map up with a line through the streets like a GPS. An animated woman appeared in the corner and began talking.
“I dunno. What now? I think we or at least, I should spend some time trying to figure out who the kanima is and who controls it,”
"Yeah that'd be the smart thing to do."
“And we’re making smart decisions,”
"Usually. Sometimes we make dumb ones."
Lillian watched the computer with interest, "How does it do that?"

"Yeah that'd be the smart thing to do."

"Usually. Sometimes we make dumb ones."
“Often but we’re gonna be smart today,”
Lillian watched the computer with interest, "How does it do that?"
“It’s a network that the race master connects to a program on here to tell us where the ‘track’ is,”
"So everyone has one of these? Neat."
"But just for today though."
"But just for today though."
“Yup. In fact I might make some bad decisions tonight. So maybe just be smart for an hour or so,” he shot Belle a quick charming smile.
"So everyone has one of these? Neat."
“Yeah. It’s pretty cool,” the engines growled loudly and Darren smiled.
Lillian grinned wickedly, "There going down."
Cooper couldn’t help but laugh. “Are ya gonna make it?”
She blushed harder and smiled. "I think I will."
“I’m an earlier round,” Darren mumbled. The woman on the computer laughed, “Ready?” On the word go, all the cars took off, almost immediately determining underdogs by the people who fell behind.
Cooper couldn’t help but laugh. “Are ya gonna make it?”
She blushed harder and smiled. "I think I will."
Cooper pecked he rlips and walked to the car.
Lillian held onto her seat. She glanced out the window to see all the cars falling behind or pulling ahead.
Cooper couldn’t help but laugh. “Are ya gonna make it?”
She blushed harder and smiled. "I think I will."
Cooper pecked he rlips and walked to the car.
She followed him again, her steps lighter.
Darren pulled ahead until he was right next to Baldies car. He shot the man a smug smile.
Cooper couldn’t help but laugh. “Are ya gonna make it?”
She blushed harder and smiled. "I think I will."
Cooper pecked he rlips and walked to the car.
She followed him again, her steps lighter.
He grinned even as he got into the car.
Lillian stuck her tongue out at Baldie. She was a lot more childish then Darren.
