“Yeah. I guess I should. Do have anything before I continue?”
“Yeah. I guess I should. Do have anything before I continue?”
She shook her head slowly. She'd let the guilt simmer down a bit more before she admitted to it.
“Okay. Well. I don’t like that you don’t trust me around Colt. I haven’t done anything that bad with him since everything happened with him eventually. I used to be really mad about it but I’m fine now because I realized you had a point. I don’t know if I have feelings for him or what he is but I see now that you had a point in keeping us apart so that was a hollow confession.” He bit his lip. He was a good little gay.
"I was just worried." She mumbled, squeezing her hands in her lap, not meeting his eyes.
“It’s fine to be worried I would be too which is why I haven’t seen him since then,”
She smiled a little, at least he didn't think she was overreacting like she thought she was.
“I thought you were over reacting before but then he came over. He was all charming and then he got me drunk and he was just… not ugly and I realized that if it was that easy to want him, I probably should keep my distance for awhile,”
"You can call him hot. Cause he is. And I'll admit to that."
“Okay fine!” Ryan always got so worked up over these things that he was basically hyperventilating at this point. “He’s hot and I missed him but I love you more and I didn’t want to do something I’d regret with him and in turn lose you. You should know that nothing happened other than cuddling and Netflix watching,”
"Honey, please calm down." Her voice grew smaller. She didn't want him to freak and it was kind of starting to scare her.
“I’m fine!” He sighed and said again calmly. “I’m fine, I just have a lot of feelings about that and yeah. Sorry. You still don’t have anything?”
Not anything I'm willing to admit to. She shook her head again.
“You sure?” He had all this stuff and honesty hour means you get it all out.
"Mhm. Pretty sure." She kept her eyes down. She could never look someone in the eyes when this was happening.
“You won’t look at me anymore. I feel like maybe you have something to say,” his voice was calm and soft.
Yeah cause I'm just gonna say that I've cheated on you not once, not twice, but three times with the same guy and expect you not to freak out, right?? "I can never look at someone during something like this."
“Well if you have nothing to get off your chest then, we can be done,” he shrugged and stood up.
She cleared her throat, finally looking up from her spot on the floor. "Yeah, I guess."
“What are we doing tonight?”
Lillian grinned and leaned back in her seat. This would be fun.
He pulled up next to a row of other cars and rolled his window down. “Mr. Balthazar came back eh?” Baldie spat. “And he brought his little girl. What a shame if she’d get hurt in her first race back,” he meant Darren’s car, not Lillian.
Lillian rolled her eyes. She knew he wasn't referring to her the moment he had said back. Lillian was half tempted to flip the bald guy off.
“What are we doing tonight?”
"Don't know. What did you want to do?"
“I should meet her. Isn’t she worried about you?”
"She gets very protective," Fleur replied. Suddenly, worry poured over her features. "I haven't called her in so long. She's probably worried more than ever…"
“Oh,” Cooper nodded. She could have called but he didn’t fully understand the situation.
"Allons y," she half-asked.
“What are we doing tonight?”
"Don't know. What did you want to do?"
“I have no plans and no ideas so it’s whatever you want,” Ryan didnt n is why he had stood other than to make a statement.
“Of course. Let’s go,”
She still squeezed her hands nervously, like if she said the wrong thing he'd freak.
