Lillian laughed, "So are we there?"
”we are there,” there were cars of all kind. Shitty rusted ones that looked like they couldn’t even run and others that looked like they cost millions. Nothing about being here was PG either.
Lillian looked around at all the different cars, "Wow. This is going to be fun."
“You bet,” he chuckled. “We just have to wait,”
Lillian smiled, "I figured as much. Do you recognize any of these cars?"
"Yeah so do I. I didn't go crazy in the asylum. I went crazy afterward when the voices started."
“Makes sense,”
"But even still. After Mom died, every single time I left the house I'd take a knife with me because I'd have men up and down the street looking at me like I was some easy target. I was petrified."
His memory flashed to when she only had one eye and he couldn’t help but smile. Such a huge insecurity for her but he didn’t care. He thought it was cute and she’s always been so beautiful in his eyes.
Lillian smiled, "I figured as much. Do you recognize any of these cars?"
“Some of them, yeah. Listen there’s a secret to this. It’s not about what the car looks like from the out side, it’s about what’s under the hood,”
"So a really rusty car could actually be really good? Makes sense, appearances aren't everything."
“Yeah. Like that white one there,” he pointed to a rusted out, crap car. “That engine is nitro fueled.” The person next to it opened the hood to a shiny and silver blue glowing engine.
"Damn," Lillian said whistling, "That ones going to be fast right?"
“It’s the same stuff as what’s in the tanks in mine but it’s newer and built into the engine so he doesn’t need these bulky tanks in his car.” Darren opened the hatch and grinned. “But mines faster,” he chuckled.
Lillian smirked, "I'm sure it is. Before the race starts do you have any enemies here?"
“Plenty but, see that guy?” He pointed to a large man, taller and much bigger than Darren. His head shaved bald and his car tricked out.
“I have a box of girls clothes in my closet. You might be able to find some stuff in there? Or I can drive you home.”
"Pourquoi…?" She murmured, then realized it was probably better to not asked that question. "Could you drive me home? If it's not too much trouble."
“Don’t you have parents?”
"I do," she replied quietly, thinking. "My mother should be home."
Lillian saw baldie and nodded, "Yeah?"

“I should meet her. Isn’t she worried about you?”
Lillian saw baldie and nodded, "Yeah?"
“He’s ruthless, he hates losing and he hates that I’m his competition. He’ll ram me off the road given the chance,”
"So stay the fuck away from him," Lillian laughed slightly before her face looked at him concerningly, "Are you sure this'll be okay?"

"She gets very protective," Fleur replied. Suddenly, worry poured over her features. "I haven't called her in so long. She's probably worried more than ever…"
"So stay the fuck away from him," Lillian laughed slightly before her face looked at him concerningly, "Are you sure this'll be okay?"
“This?” He looked around with a smile. “I love this. It’s fine,”
“I should meet her. Isn’t she worried about you?”
"She gets very protective," Fleur replied. Suddenly, worry poured over her features. "I haven't called her in so long. She's probably worried more than ever…"
“Oh,” Cooper nodded. She could have called but he didn’t fully understand the situation.
Lillian nodded and smiled, “Of course. So let’s win this race.0
His memory flashed to when she only had one eye and he couldn’t help but smile. Such a huge insecurity for her but he didn’t care. He thought it was cute and she’s always been so beautiful in his eyes.
She closed her left eye, the x-shaped scar seeming to glow against her skin. "Then this happened and everyone really thought I was crazy."
Ryan smiled. This was the Belle he knew first, scared and under confident with an X over her eye. He ran his hand over it like it was his favorite thing about her.
She sighed quietly. "But I didn't want Insanity to hurt you so I had to get rid of her."
“I know,” he said softly.
"Then the entire thing happened. I'm just sorry they scared you so bad. They're not good at checking before they say things."
