14.) Is there something that you’ve dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it?
I've always wanted to sing for people outside of just being in the musicals. I'm under confident about my voice and I get really weird about it but I love music.
Visit another country! I think it's obvious why I haven't done it yet though.
I was gonna say that but I lived in another country so… that wouldn't work… Go to a different country besides the two I've lived in.
Probably some type of acting thing, I'm confident about performing in front of people. I have zero confidence in my voice.
I agree, Kate.
15.) What is the greatest accomplishment of your life?
I don't know. Life really has just begun I think but striving to help people is something I'm proud of (#BeAGentleman ;). And just a lot of sports stuff that I'm proud of.
My place in the concert choir. I've been in chorus since the third grade and I've been working for a spot in the concert choir since the seventh.
No clue, maybe that time I made it to third in a state art contest. Maybe that time I qualified for the state DI tournament (only ones in our category, the thing actually sucked ass). Maybe that time I helped conceptualize a coup against the speech coaches, when I was sitting only a few seats from one. I don't know.
Lol. Nice.
16.) What do you value most in a friendship?
"Hmm," Darren says to his friends… "I would say I most value loyalty, honesty and commitment. Don't leave me, don't lie to me, and don't let me be the only reason why this is working and we should be just fine."
"Respect my boundaries, don't leave me without a damn good reason, and never ever ask me to change who I am," Kate says to people who say their friends. And they are.
"Dammit! You took my answer!" Jackie pouted. "I'd have to say acceptance, love, and general kindness. Don't be a bitch, accept who I am, and support me and I won't drop you like a hot potato." She paused for a second. "Can you tell I'm hungry?"
Lol mooood.
17.) What is your most treasured memory?
I remember when my brother was born… My mom and my dad were together and my older sister was too and I just remember that everyone was together and so excited about this new part of our family. All I wanted for like, 8 years, was a brother and I had finally gotten one.
Like speech team, all of speech team. I don't know, just speech team man.
When my dad came home after being overseas for the second time for over a year. I was maybe 5, 6, possibly 7 and god had I missed him.
Aw.
18.) What is your most terrible memory?
I was in my room and I could hear my parents fighting. The last thing I heard before the door slammed was my dad yelling, "I refuse to have a retard for a son," and I still really hope that my brother doesn't remember that. So…… this got really deep pretty fast…
Oh god let's see. Which one to pick? Oh, I know. When my grandma died of cancer about two, maybe three years ago. I've never seen my brother cry as hard as he did that day.
Aww. Yeah, I could see how that wouldn't be a very good memory.
I think that question may have killed Kate…
Can I opt out of this one? It's nothing serious, promise. I just made a stupid decision and the consequence still haunt me.
No, food did.
Yeah that's fine!
19.) If you knew that in one year you would die suddenly, would you change anything about the way you are now living? Why?
I dunno. I'd probably take things more serious. I have this nasty habit of making everything a joke just so things don't get too awkward and I'd probably not do that as much. I'd make amends with people I don't talk to much anymore.
I'D JOIN MORE SPORTS! BASKETBALL, HERE I COME!
NO BASKETBALL! Also spend more time with friends and my child. The laptop.
(I had a full on pause there like, oh shit… what child. And then I thought maybe that was your worst memory or something… you can't scare me like that.)
