"Mmmm…" Teagan ate a bit more and then laid against the counter again. Once he seemed done, Finn picked him up and carried him on his back to throw him on the couch.

Beatrice watched with wide eyes. She always knew the twins were stronger than the average male, but she had never seen Finn exert his strength as plainly as this.
She followed them slowly and pulled a blanket over Teagan when Finn got him on the couch.
Finn yawned and stretched, evidently unfazed by carrying his twin. He could lift significantly more than his brother's body weight without difficulty, and he and Teagan fought all the time, so picking him up was pretty easy. "So, now that he's resting, what do you want to do?" Finn asked. Teagan grumbled in response, but didn't move.
Beatrice shrugged.
"I think we should stay here, maybe swim, so we can keep an eye on Teagan and Irena." She told him. "Just in case."
"Works for me." Finn shrugged and then looked over when Teagan started to whine about something that wasn't intelligible, but Finn seemed to understand regardless. He rolled his eyes and knelt on one knee in front of the couch, lifting it up with one hand and fetching Teagan's phone for him from underneath it.
Beatrice yawned and smiled at Finn.
"I think he'll be fine if we go swimming outside." She told Finn. "Should we change?"
"Yeah, probably. I think my swim trunks are still around here somewhere…" Finn put the couch back down and stretched. "I'll be right back." He headed upstairs to change into his swim trunks.
Beatrice slowly made her way upstairs, going into her room and changing into the light purple once piece, checking herself out in her vanity mirror before heading back down, grabbing a towel from the hall closet on the way.
Finn was downstairs already by the time Beatrice returned, evidently explaining to Teagan what they were doing so his brother would stop whining about everything. He looked up when he heard Beatrice and immediately left Teagan.
Beatrice gave Teagan a soft pat on the back as she headed towards the back door.
She threw her towel on one of the deck chairs and made her way into the shallow end of the pool using the steps.
"It took my dad forever to get the pool exactly how he wanted it." She told Finn, as she waded outwards until the water was up to her waist.
"Did he build it?" Finn asked curiously as he waded into the water after her. He flipped onto his back to float for the time being, still a bit drowsy since he hadn't woken up too long before. "I always liked coming over here when we were little."
"Yeah," Beatrice said. "Our house is really comfortable and my dad had to had to have everything how he wanted it when we started renovating when we first bought it."
"Mm… I think my parents just bought our house. I'm not sure, though. Always lived in the same one." Finn shrugged. "As far as I remember anyway." He sighed and closed his eyes, relaxing.
"We moved here very early in my life." Beatrice told him. "Like when I was three is what I've been told."
Finn nodded. "I don't really remember my early childhood much at all. I have only a handful of memories from before I was turned." He sighed softly and stared into the sky, thinking about something.
Beatrice frowned and dove under the water, just floating there, her arms and legs splayed out in identical v's.
She spent her time under the water thinking of what to say, but nothing seemed to pop into her brain.
Finn yawned and closed his eyes, content to float on the surface of the water for now. It was nice and warm outside, so the cool water felt nice. He looked over at Beatrice every once in a while.
Beatrice came up, only when he lungs started to burn from lack of oxygen and she took a few deep breaths.
She then made her way to the shallow side, went under and used her legs to kick off the wall, swimming underwater towards the other wall of the pool.
She made it over halfway there, her fingers had only grazed the cement of the pool before hse had to come up, breathing in gasps.
"You good?" Finn asked, looking over from where he was floating when he heard Beatrice coughing. "Don't go drowning on me, now." He flipped and swam over towards her, not sure whether he should do something or if she was alright.
Beatrice waved a hand at him.
I'm okay.
Once she got her breath under control she smiled.
"I like staying under for as long as possible." She explained.
"Why?" Finn asked, tilting his head to the side. "Isn't it uncomfortable having to try and hold your breath that long?"
Beatrice shrugged.
"A little." She said and kneeled, making the water come up to the bottom of her chin.
Finn leaned against the side of the pool and sighed, staring at the house. He didn't hear anything from inside, so he assumed Teagan was behaving for the time being. "How's Irena doing?"
"She's better." Beatrice told him. "She just needs rest because she's physically drained from being sick."
Finn nodded. "Hopefully she'll be feeling back to normal soon. Teagan's a bit dramatic, but he'll be just fine."
