"Are you alright sir? Short of breath?" Adel asked, worry silking off of her voice
"Oh, we must have woken up Abiliene. I'm sorry, dear, I didn't think we were that loud.''
"Abiliene, what a perfect name" she repeated, looking up at the beautiful girl standing at the top of the stairs.
"Why don't you go back to bed," he said to Abiliene tenderly. "And Adel, you can go on ahead to your room. It the third door down."
(well someone knocked on Vien's door but I guess that got scrapped or something?)
(Nonono, that was the front door, because Adel came in late)
"Alright, thank you" she replied, taking the key from his hand and putting it in a metal chain around her neck
(Here, Beau can knock on Vien's door.)
Beau approached a fairly large door and decided to knock after a few moments of hesitation. He raised his hands and rapped on the wooden surface, taking a few steps back as he waited for someone to open it.
Adel jumped at the knock from down the hall and unlocked her door to open a room covered in white and red.
Vien scowled at the door, righting himself and wincing at the slight pain the movement caused. His body ached after falling asleep so awkwardly, and he wasn't in the best mood because of it. "What do you want?" he grumbled tiredly, opening the door to scowl at some white-haired boy in the doorway. But as soon as he realized he was cute, his mood lifted slightly. "Oh. Hello, I g-guess," he muttered
"Hello…" Beau answered as he looked up at the dark-haired boy infront of him as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously. He studied the boy for a few moments, but quickly dropped his gaze. "I guess this isn't my room then." Beau finally added after a pause, a small grin tugging the corners of his lips up.
"No, it isn't, I'm afraid," came Moraphe's voice. He passed Beau in the hall. "Time to sleep."
Vien, upon seeing the strange man in the hall, made a split-second decision. "It is now," he sneered before grabbing Beau's wrist and tugging him gently into the room. He shut the door behind him with a loud thump, letting go of Beau's wrist once they were inside. "Sorry, but I really don't like h-him."
Moraphe, upon witnessing this, stared at the closed door in confusion for a moment, then made his way down the hall to his own room.
"Same. He's quite annoying," Beau agreed, chuckling softly as he glanced back at the closed door. He looked back towards the boy, his gaze studying them with a faint smile as he fiddled with the bag on his side. "So, uh, what's your name?"
"Vien," he answered simply. "You can have the bed and the d-dresser. I don't need them," he said, walking back over to his corner and sitting down. He rummaged through his duffel bag for a moment before pulling out a large astronomy book. He got up again, walking over to the window. Upon seeing that it was raining, he let out a sigh
Adel closed the window quickly as to avoid the rain. Every single relationship she'd ever tried to have ended up being a faliure, concidering her love for the people of the water element. It might've come from the love of her mother, a water demon, but she wasn't particulairly sure why she couldn't find someone who loved her and shared the same properties of magic.
She sat down on the bed and lit the fire. She began house warming rituals such as spreading the scent of ash around the entire room, marking her place by dropping some of her blood in the sink, and fluffing the sheets and pillows.
(TIME JUMP: Morning)

"I'm Beau," he replied softly as he set his satchel down and glanced over at Vien, studying the cover of their astronomy book. After a few moments, Beau averted his gaze and took out his pack of cigarettes, checking how many were left. "Great. Only five," He muttered to himself, placing it back into his pocket as he glanced around the room in order to fill the silence.
