Kana shook her head. "We can eat when we get back," she started to walk towards the gates of the town. "So… what do you think of Leah?"
Kana shook her head. "We can eat when we get back," she started to walk towards the gates of the town. "So… what do you think of Leah?"
Jair nodded. "Oh. She's uh…she's fine." He replied with a shrug. "Why?" He asked. Does she…? Why is she asking?
"Just-" because I can tell she likes you. And I'm not sure how I feel about that. "Don't worry about it," she laughed with a slight edge, "It's good that you two get along." She lied through her teeth, giving him a cheeky smile.
"Ah. Alright." He said slowly, giving her an odd look. He sighed quietly, and raked a hand through his hair.
(I have no excuse, I had several opportunities to respond and I have not. For that, I apologize)
Kana watched him intently, but in a good way. Her mind started to race a bit before she pulled out one of Leah's books from her jacket (that she just so happened to be wearing). "Here," she shoved it in his direction, "You forgot to take this with you." Kana didn't make eye contact with him though. She was hesitant to give him the book in the first place, but ultimately decided that it would be wrong to just keep the book to herself.
(dude, it's totally fine, don't worry about it :) )
Jair blinked, and took the book. "Oh. Thanks." he replied with a quick smile. He tucked the book into his pocket after glancing at it for a moment. He let out a sigh. "So…when's the wedding?" he asked suddenly. "For…you and Aydan." he tried to ignore the wash of jealousy that rose up as he thought of it.
