(Actually mine is outside, but I was about to bring another one in)
(jeez this is confusing. okay yeah he was talking to Davianna)
Daviana stroked her stick with her thumb. "We did good today," she whispered.
A man walked into the restaurant and approached Oliver. "Hey there, are you the owner?"
Oliver turned and surveyed him with chips of green. "Yes I am. What do you need?"
Daviana looked up and watched the exchange curiously.
Riverpaw took a deep breath of the cool air as she stepped into the restaurant, pulling along her husky puppy, Tsunami, hoping dogs were allowed in. She unclipped Tsunami's collar so she could breath better, and giggled as the pup slid down onto the cold floor. She put the collar and leash in her bag and picked Tsunami from the floor, heading to a table in the back, away from any windows and people.
"I've never been here before, but someone recommended this place to me. Do you allow carry-outs?"
(In case you don't know what that is: He basically orders food and, instead of eating it in this place, takes it home or somewhere else. Just in case)
"Usually, but in this heat whatever you want will probably burn if you set it down somewhere. What would you like?" Oliver leaned against the table and wished fervently that he was taller.
"What do you have?"
Daviana kept her head down as a new girl entered with a husky puppy. She thought that she recognized her from school. Daviana shifted. She loved husky puppies.
"Ah, I have anything the people want. Ice cream, burgers, hot dogs, the menu's right over there." Oliver pointed over at his front counter where a large chalkboard was painted colorfully of food items and bright drawings displaying ice cream and hot dogs.
The man studied the menu for a while before making his decision, and placing his order.
Daviana watched everything happening. She pulled out her phone again and opened up messages, which had 3 notifications.
Oliver got the man his food and wished him a good day, then accepted his money which he counted accordingly, with a smile on his face.
When the man received his food, he paid and turned to go – and almost tripped over Tsunami.
Tsunami barked at the man, but was quickly shushed by Riverpaw. "S-sorry! Tsuna, d-don't bark at people."
Oliver crossed his arms and walked over to the man. "Sorry, I let my usuals bring pets. Tsunami usually doesn't get in the way. Have a great day!"
Confused, the man left, glancing back at the dog a few times before exiting the restaurant.
Riverpaw looked up at Oliver, bringing her shoulders up in embarrassment. "I-I'm sorry, Oliver, she's a little irritable right now. We haven't been h-having the best day."
Oliver huffed, bringing his strict side out unintentionally. "Well, could you pleaaase make sure he/she doesn't disturb the customers? If Tsunami's going to act this way, then at least bring him/her into the back, where you can keep an eye on him/her!"
(I don't remember Tsunami's gender, sorry Riverpaw. xD)
(it cool, Tsuna's a girl ^~^)
Riverpaw flinched, but nodded and reached down to pick up the pup again. Tsunami growled lowly at Oliver's tone, but went with it anyway.
(Hmmm…I've been thinking…there aren't very many people in this chat in general, so perhaps I could make my own official character, to control beside the random ones. )
(Yeee)
Oliver looked ready to growl straight back at Tsunami (since he's the type to do so) and turned his back on the pair, then went back over to the front counter.
