Riverpaw nodded, heading over to the counter. Tsunami kept her eyes on her human for a moment, then looked up at the girl holding her, wagging her tail.

Daviana giggled. She wished that she could have a puppy like Tsunami. She lightly stroked the puppy's fur.

Tsunami nuzzled into Daviana's hand, making a happy sound. Riverpaw leaned against the counter, smiling at Oliver as she took the ice cream from him, then hurried back over to Daviana. She blink at Tsunami as the pup barked happily at her return.

Daviana held Tsunami securely. "Thank you," she said quietly to the girl. Her voice wavered slightly.
