@ElderGod-Carrots
Elide shrugged, “I don’t know… whatever you think will work, a word maybe?”
Elide shrugged, “I don’t know… whatever you think will work, a word maybe?”
Jay shook his head. "W-Words do nothing for me… I… only really respond to pain…"
Elide stayed silent for a minute, becuase she did the same but shook her head, “Well, you need to break that… so do I.” The last part was said barley more then a whisper.
He glanced up at Elide, but said nothing. He seemed over aware of the bruises on his arms and back.
“Come on, let’s make some more food.”
"I don't need food…" Jay's stomach growled quietly, and he turned away.
Hayes stood up from his place on the couch. "Hey, is everything alright over there?"
Elide nodded, “Yes, Jay just needs some food.” She said looking at him.
"N-No I don't! I mean… I'm fine… I'm not hungry." His stomach betrayed him again and he avoided making eye contact with Elide.
“Jay, you need to eat.” Elide said firmly.
A pink tint rose to Jay's cheeks, and he seemed guilty. He had always hated that tone. It always meant that it would escalate into yelling and then a fight, where one or both of his parents would get drunk and hurt him somehow.
Elide relaxed a little, “I’m sorry but you have to eat something, please.”
Hayes held his hand up. "If he doesn't want to eat, don't make him. I wouldn't want to eat those quesadillas either."
“Hey! Our cooking is great, but you’re right… sorry.”
(Jay: YEAH I'M AN ADULT I DO WHAT I WANT)
Jay definitely didn't want to eat, but he didn't know Elide super well. He didn't know whether she would start yelling at him or not, and he really didn't want to be yelled at. "…Fine.."
“You don’t have to if you really don’t want to… I’m sorry I-I shouldn’t force you.” Elide was embarrassed and started fiddling with the sleeve of her shirt.
"It's fine… I don't want to- er, nevermind." It's not an eating disorder, so she neednt worry about it…
“Okay… I’m just gonna go to my room for a minute, there’s… something I need to do.” She tried to smiled and moved to her room where she shut the door and locked it.
Jay watched her leave, confused. What would she need to do? Nonetheless, he decided that he wouldn't eat until she returned. Or just wouldn't eat. He hadn't quite figured that part out yet.
Hayes sighed and turned to Jay. "Welcome to the angst, bud." He smiled and walked towards the door to Elide's bedroom. He knocked on the door. "Hey, you okay in there?"
Elide was about to harm herself when she heard Haye’s at the door, “I’m fine…” She tried to keep her voice steady.
((Looks like I missed a lot of the rp again… just completely unimportant, like usual, in rps and the real world…..))
Astrid quickly pulled her hand away from Jay. She walked backward a few steps, running her hand through her hair. Useless, of course you made it worse! "I-I'm just gonna leave now…" She turns and speedwalks to her room, not expecting anyone to care to follow her.
\ hey, sorry that I never posted my character yesterday was hectic, I feel like this RP has got enough RPers already, so I might not join if thats ok? sorry \
Darcy blinked, confused at the interaction between Jay and Elide and Elide's quick departure. Her stomach groaned in protest, she still hadn't eaten. Sighing, she made her way back to the kitchen. She rummaged through the fridge and took out a tub of yogurt, too lazy to cook something. For now, it would suffice.
She gives a fake shocked look at Maria. "You stole their quesadillas! That's all out war you traitor!" Astrid ran to the sink to get a sponge.
She tried to shield herself. "Hey, I need food if I'm gonna deal with annoying girls that make me write 'Mrs. Justin Beiber' on their cups!"
